Kaioh Michiru, known as Michelle in NA, comes in the S season, as a student at the Mugen Gakuen
Academy. She very elegant, and obviously from a well-off family. Michiru
is astoundingly talented on the violin, and even plays a duet with Haruka.
She is usually a very nice and gentle girl, and loves to swim and paint.
Her birthday is March 6th, which makes her a Pisces, suited to her hobby
and love of swimming. Her name literally means "from the sea" as well.
Michiru also has a sort of "thing" going on with Haruka, although they
deny it. But their infamous "exchanges" within the series does all but
completely expose their relationship.
Michiru's alter ego is Sailor Neptune, who appears with Sailor Uranus
in the beginning of Sailor Moon S. As Sailor Neptune, Michiru is colder
and much more serious than her human self. However, the relationship between
her and Uranus (Haruka) is just as evident here as it is when they're in
human form. She has a talisman, a mirror, that was within herself and that
she used with the other two talismans to form the grail, which transforms
Sailor Moon into SuperSailor Moon. Her attacks are Deep Submerge and Submarine
Reflection, both really powerful water attacks. Although she is often distant
from the Inner Senshi, she is still a great asset to the team.
