Tsukino Usagi

Meet Tsukino Usagi. In the NA version, her name is Serena. Her birthday is June 30th, which makes her a Cancer. Somehow, we know that her bloodtype is O. Her favorite colors are white and pink, and her favorite food is, well, obviously ice cream. She hates carrots, which is ironic considering her name. In Japanese, Tsukino Usagi means 'rabbit of the moon'. So, if she's a rabbit, why does she hate carrots? Just a little bit of trivia there for you. Usagi has a tendency to be a crybaby, but she has a stronger tendency to be there for her friends whenever they need her. She is a true friend and a strong warrior in battle. She is currently in love with Mamoru, a college student.

Another thing: Usagi just happens to be the warrior for looove and justice, Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon is the leader of the Sailor Senshi, a group of strong female warriors who just happen to be her best friends. She uses first the Moon Prizm, then the Silver Crystal (the Ginzuishou) to transform into Sailor Moon, and later on the Grail to change to Super Sailor Moon. Some of her finishing moves include Moon Scepter Elimination, Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss, and Rainbow Moon Heartache. When it comes down to the nitty gritty, Sailor Moon is always there for whoever needs her, and she always stands directly in the way of anything evil, and has a tendency to rip it to shreds.

Presently, Usagi is a clumsy crybaby who can be irresponsible and a klutz. But in her past life, she was actually the Princess of the Moon. Princess Serenity is the daughter of Queen Serenity in the Moon Kingdom thousands of years ago. Her mother, Queen Serenity, sacrificed her life using the Ginzuishou to save the lives of her daughter and the senshi. Now, Usagi discovers her true heritage, and realizes her duties as both Sailor Moon and as Princess Serenity. In the future, she marries Mamoru (Prince Endymion), and she becomes Neo-Queen Serenity, ruler of Crystal Tokyo. They have a daughter, confusingly named Tsukino Usagi, more commonly referred to as Chibi-Usa. But that's another story altogether.
