DRAGONBALL Z GAME REVIEWS

KAMI'S GAME REVIEWS

Welcome to the game reviews, below are some DBZ games that i and a friend wrote about. Dragon Ball Final Bout.

Over all i give this game a 9/10.
graphics: 8/10
music:10/10
sfx:9/10
control:6/10
gameplay:10/10
2player gameplay:9/10

  • Good points: Final Bout has a lot of cool moves that you can do in the air or on the ground, and some cool players to choose from, and there are a lot of counter moves to do. So any true fan will love this game though.

  • downs: This game really doesn't have any downs except for control it takes a little while to move when you hit the button, and the graphics are a little blocky but other than that it's a fun fighter game.

Dragon Ball Legends. I'd give this game a 8 out of 10

    graphics:9
    music:8
    SFX:10
    control:10
    gameplay:10
    2player gameplay:5

    Good Things

  • This game does really good at creating the same effect on the anime when there fighting in the air and there's a energy balance bar and if you're wandering what the heck that is then well heres how it works when you fight you try to push the energy balance to your favor if this is done then you will do a super energy attack this takes away from the fun of the doing special attacks when you just have enough power or when you feel like it but some people would consider this a good thing, and there are things that can be knocked down during attacks like trees and moutons this makes the game more realistic. And there are 35 characters that you can play as which is really cool and some are really spectacular and in the you Vs the com mode you can mach up your favorite characters plus each character has 1 to 3 super special attacks well all in all this game is definitely worth it

  • Bad Things

Well some of the special attacks are not that spectacular and with a lot of characters you can hardly see any detail on ther faces and the small energy balls arrant that cool you can see there really small and don't do that much but distract them and a little change on the balance bar in your favor and how disided that vegeta doesnt do his big bang attack also you can only choose one character each against someone and even then it's hard to play Vs a friend i don't know Why they dident just make a split screen mode in the Vs well thats it.

    Shinbutohden
Shinbutohden is in my opinion the best dragonball z game. it's got great animation, sometimes it looks like the actual anime! the gamely is great to, the controls are nice and tight, and responsive. there are a lot of characters to, you can even play as tenshihan! the power attacks a spectacular, and unlike the cartridge game's, the say the attacks dramatically like instead of kamehamea it's KA-ME-HA-ME-HA!!!!! each character have 2-4 attacks. and the meteos (button combination's that make you do big combo's) there are a lot of them such as one of vegitta's is his final blast bomb. (not to be confused with final flash or big bang attack)  now oon to the arena's, there amazing, they've got a unique additive, there are 2--5 parts of every arena. you can knock them to the background, or fly and push l when your close to them, i.e. when theres no splitscreen.and in one arena, there are even obstacles, that can be stood on, or even destroyed! the mr.satan mode is hysterical, mr.satan has to bet on fights, to to get enough to pay his dept to eighteen the catch is, you get to cheat, in the fights, such as shooting them (not that it would do much damage and it dossent but there's other things you can use like dynamite) there ar about five different ending movies. that I've gottan. (there's most likely more) there is a mode where you can fight any number from 1v.s5 to 5v.s5. and a tournament mode, where you can fight in the world martial arts tournament. (the one from dragonball and dragonball z) in conclusion, this game is expensive, but totally worth it.

Thanx to Gogita for the Legends and Shinbutohden review.
