4/28/00 (April 28, 2000 or 28 April 2000) All normal disclaimers (i.e. I don’t own Sailor Moon and Co., but I do own the story! And all new characters) apply. Please don’t steal my characters without giving me some credit to them! Hi! Okay, I decided that I would totally revise my A New Princess story, with a better explanation of what happened before, and less repetitiveness, you know, a total renovation. This is the first part, the prologue. It will be a bit lengthy, but if you want to understand, it’s gotta be! Thanx for reading, and please e-mail me! Here’s a sad thing: I’ve gotten more mail for my Fiore’s Return story than all of my other stories combined! Well, except the theme song. That was too wacky. Anyway, this will have the same title, only there will a ‘R’ at the end of it, to show it’s been revised. Another thing, nothing has to deal with my life, except the first name, Elizabeth. Go to my web site for more info: www.geocities.com/smtradingcardcollector/index.html. Thanx again! -Crescent Moon A New Princess R: Prologue Okay, some of you might wonder what I’m doing. Especially my computer. I’ve decided to write up the story of my insane life. Wait, you don’t know who I am. Well, for starters, my name, according to my parents, is Elizabeth Bunny Crescent. I’m called Bunny, or Selene, or Tranquility, or Liz, or Andromeda, the list goes on. I’m, currently, 17 years old, but the story of my life starts back when I was fifteen, or was it fourteen? Fourteen definitely. Anyway, in this account, I suppose that’s what it is, you will learn about my life. You will also learn who this annoying person who keeps touching the computer keys is. No one will ever believe this, which is why I’m keeping it to myself and my friends involved. Let me start from the beginning: Okay, I was fourteen when I met some distant relatives of mine. I’m related to them by five marriages and two generations, or something like that. Anyway, I met them because we were having a family reunion for my great-grandma’s siblings and descendants. So basically, it was my great-great-grandparents calling all their children and descendants to a reunion. They were idiotic enough to set it in January! It was fun, but I was the youngest there. The next youngest was, like, 22, or something, so I felt really out of place. The sad thing, the 22-year-old was my youngest-older sister. I guess you could say I came as a shock to my family. Before I was born, my grandparents, who were the youngest of the second generation from my great-great-grandparents, had twenty three grandchildren from six children. They really thought my sister was the last one, since my mom, the youngest, was, well, getting on in her years. I won’t reveal her age, that’d be rude. So, imagine my shock when a family drove up with a fifteen-year-old boy! They looked foreign, but spoke perfect English. They started mingling, and they met my parents, noticing the dejected look on the boy’s face, my parents pointed me out. I was listening to a CD, one of my favorites, and writing down a daydream I had had. I tried to draw some things, but I’m a horrible drawer. Suddenly, my headphones were whisked off. I shrieked, something I do often when I’m scared or surprised (A.N.- I do that as well, and I’m a horrible drawer too. Okay, I lied, some things are like me, but the whole family thing isn’t at all. That’s more like one of my best friends, Rachel, who’s the ‘Venus’ of our little Sailor Moon group. I’ve got a lot of friends who aren’t in our Sailor Moon group, mainly because we don’t want a Chibi-Moon, Uranus, Neptune, or any of the other strange ones. Oh yeah, we have no Tuxedo Mask, mainly because I, ‘Sailor Moon’, don’t have a boyfriend, or at least a permanent one.) I looked up, and saw a very cute boy listening with some interest. The minute I saw him, I felt something extremely strange happen to my body, but it was over in less than two seconds, though it seemed like two hours. “Can I help you?” I asked. He looked at me, smiled, and said, “You listen to weird CDs.” “Thanks.” I raised my eyebrow. “Who are you, where did you come from, and did my parents send you over here because you’re close to my age?” “My name is Ranma, I’m from China (?), and yes, because I’m 16.” “Hi! I’m glad there’s someone close to my age finally! Everyone else is 22 or older. By the way, I’m Elizabeth, but call me Bunny. Everyone does. I’m 13, but I’ll be fourteen in exactly a week.” I turned to my notebook and closed it, shutting off my CD player in the process, and took the headphones from him. Ranma and I spent the afternoon wandering around the gigantic dining room we had rented for this get together. We talked a lot, too. I pointed out the people I knew, and he did the same. All in all, it was a lot of fun. Towards dinner, I went to find my parents. I saw them talking with one of my favorite cousins. She was nearly thirty, and was married with two kids, who were with the official babysitter, i.e. Barney, Sesame Street, T.V. and videos in general, and a hotel worker. All the kids under ten were there, and that was all the other kids, except me and Ranma. “What? Why can’t you take Bunny like you said you would?” asked my mother. My mom and dad had to go away this summer on some trip for business or something, and I couldn’t go with them. I was originally going to stay with my cousin, but now I guess I wasn’t. “Well, we were going to move in the next month or so, but the people there said that they couldn’t leave until September, and you know that our current house is too small to fit Bunny. It’s barely big enough to fit us, which is why we were moving. I’m really sorry.” She shrugged, then moved away as her husband tugged on her hand. “And no one else can take her for the whole summer,” said Dad. “Well, I guess we’ll have to cancel our trip. There’s no way around it.” “Wait. We can take her for the summer,” said a new voice. I frowned as best I could. I hated being talked about like I wasn’t there. Ranma was in tow of the person who had spoken, his father I assumed. “Are you sure, Genma? It’s for the whole summer,” replied my dad. “I’m positive. Bunny would be no trouble at all. She could be part of the family for awhile.” The man, Genma continued to urge my parents, as did his wife, as they were in line to get some supper. My parents agreed, but only under the insistence put up by Genma Saotome and his wife. I didn’t care either way. I was just happy that I got to go somewhere else besides stay all alone at my house all summer. Especially since it was China, and not just another state in America! They gave me this CDrom that, when I checked it out when I got home, had a language course for Chinese and Japanese. They told me to study it until they came to get me the third week of June, the day before my parents left on their trip. Five months later, with a suitcase full of clothes, another full of books and entertaining things, and a brand new black, leather-y backpack filled with comics, money, candy, a book, a laptop, one of the best kinds you could get as a little bribing present from my parents, and some other special things: I had stationery and pens in one pocket, too. I also had all of my jewelry, all made with real gemstones, or course (just because my parents felt guilty about sending me off for the summer), in a smaller pocket; I was on a plane with Genma, Ranma, and his wife, whose name I never did figure out. I never had to start a conversation. Every time I wanted something near her, or had to ask her a question, she would always speak up. It was rather frightening at first, but I got used to it in a few weeks. Anyway, the first half of the summer was spent with me learning the ways around the house, them forcing me into this weird exercise program that seemed like Tae-bo to me, and learning words and things I didn’t know. The third week of July, they announced that we would be going to Japan to their property in this place called Juuban in Tokyo. I just went along with it. Apparently, though, they had to have it fumigated. So, I ended up staying at this place called Hikawa Jinga, or something like that. My ‘aunt’ was the owner’s daughter, and there was a girl that was Ranma’s cousin. Her name was Hino Rei. Hino was her last name, and I still have trouble remembering last names go first in Japan. They were staying somewhere else, I never found out where. Anyway, I became friends with Rei-chan, who was four years older than me, 18. She called me Usagi, just so she didn’t get my name mixed up. During the next few weeks, I met her three friends and two guys. Her three friends, Ami-chan, Mako-chan, and Mina-P, were really nice to me, and didn’t laugh too much when I mixed up a word. It was really fun to hang with them, and that same feeling when I first met Ranma had started again when I had first met the girls. One man, however, was really different. I saw him at this arcade where we always went, because Mako-chan had a crush on the owner’s son, Motoki-kun, the first guy I met there. I met the second guy through Motoki-kun. Me and Motoki had a little understanding between us. He was an older brother, as was Ranma (although, I rarely saw them until the house was done being fumigated), and we flirted mercilessly with each other. It was sort of a joke. Anyway, one day Mina-P and Mako-chan had attacked my hair, while Ami-chan and Rei-chan tackled my face and clothes, and the four gave me a total make-over. Mako-chan had bleached my hair a bit to this color that looked like spun gold, a bit darker than Mina-P’s. Mina-P had fooled around until finally setting on this funny hair style that had two buns at the top of my head, like pig-tails, with these little ends falling down to my shoulders in curls. She had also pulled these very straight pieces from the middle of my head right above my bang line and let those hang loose. Ami-chan had found this really cute skirt too small for her, but perfect for me. It was a pale blue. She had found a shirt of Rei-chan’s that was too small for Rei-chan. It was a pale lavender halter top, with pale pink straps. There was this Japanese character on it that said, I think, Moonbeams, that was the color of the skirt. Then there was this pale lavender over shirt that had pale pink design covering it. Rei-chan did my make-up. She had Mako-chan help her, after she was done baking some yummy cookies. The make-up was very light, and easy to apply. Then they dragged me to the arcade to show off how I looked. Guys stared at me as we went by, since my skirt was so short probably. I had on pale pink sandals if you’re interested. Anyway, we got to the arcade, and this guy wearing a white shirt, short sleeve, with the top button undone, and blue jeans talking with Motoki. “Hi, Mamoru-kun!” exclaimed the girls. I hung back, a bit nervous. He scared me, and that weird feeling was going on over and over again. Motoki came over to me as the girls dominated the guy’s, Mamoru, talking. “So, Usa-chan, what’s up? You look different.” “Ya think, Toki-kun? (That’s what I called him, much to his dismay!) The girls pounced on me this morning, like they’ve been trying to do the past few days, and gave me a make-over. I like it, but I hate skirts!” Motoki laughed. “Well, if you’re going to be in school, get used to it. You have to wear a uniform.” “I won’t be here for school. I’m leaving the last week of August.” “What do you mean? Aren’t your parents getting your house fumigated?” I looked at him in amazement. “No. I live in America, across the Pacific Ocean. The Saotomes are my distant relatives who offered to take me for the summer. Although, they have become close family to me. I thought Rei-chan would mention it.” “Oh,” said Motoki, a little shocked. “Hey, Motoki-kun! Ya talking to an Odango Atama?” asked a male voice. It was an extremely good voice, deep enough to sound manly, but not too deep. I turned and saw Mamoru. The girls were nowhere in sight. “Where’d Rei-chan go?” I asked nervously. “What’s wrong Odango Atama? Afraid she abandoned you?” asked Mamoru. “No, I’m not, but I don’t know the city, and I have no clue how to get to the Hikawa Jinga, much less where my relatives are staying. And my name is Usagi, Saotome Usagi, Mamoru-baka.” I winked at him and grinned, seeing what he would do. He stared at me. “You’re related to the Saotomes?” he asked, shocked. “Um, yeah? Is that bad, Toki-kun?” Motoki grimaced at the name, but said no, and that, “The Saotomes are known for their martial art skills, especially the boy, Saotome Ranma.” “Ranma is a martial artist? For real? Hmph. He never told me!” I pouted for a bit. Mamoru had been thinking for a while. “So, you’re staying with them. Are you their daughter?” “What? No, I’m not. My parents are in America, I think. Or did they go to Cancun now? Anyway, I’m staying with them until the end of the summer. I met them in January at a family reunion, and they offered to take me for the summer. Why?” “Just wondering, Odango Atama.” “It’s Usagi, Mamoru-baka. I would call you by your last name, but hey, I don’t know it.” With that, I got up and headed to where I saw a blond head peeking out over a video game. For the rest of summer, even after I had started living with the Saotomes again, the girls and I would go to the arcade, and I would exchange insults for fun with Chiba Mamoru. Then, one day, early in the morning of my last week, my parents called. They said that they were sorry, but their business proposition had gone so well, that they would have to stay in Germany for another two months. They promised to send me some stuff that I would need, and more money, although I had hardly spent anything, except to buy comics or some food or something. The girls and I had arranged to meet at the arcade around three that afternoon, so I lazed around the house in my pjs, not even the thought of hanging out cheered me up. I had told the Saotomes, and they said it was okay, of course, but it didn’t make me feel any better. Around two thirty, I got dressed. I was wearing a pair of short jeans shorts, a dark green halter top, and a pure white zipper, hooded sweatshirt with a pair of sandals that were white. Ranma walked me to the arcade, but left right away, saying he had to go help his dad register me for school at the junior high school. (A.N.-Do ninth graders in Japan go to junior high or high school? I don’t know, but I think it’s junior high. I’m just curious, because Bunny is in eighth grade.) I would be staying with Rei though, because they wanted me to go to school in Japan. Ranma was home schooled, so he didn’t have to worry. He and his dad were going on some trip, and his mom would be back at work. Anyway, at the arcade I slumped down at this game called Sara Senshi, or something, with these four girls who looked extremely familiar and some guy who was too. I didn’t bother to ask, figuring out that it was based on these teens in the papers all the time about saving people from gangsters in funny costumes: Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Tuxedo Kamen. Motoki watched me as I racked up points, not really paying attention. I was on the twelfth level when the girls walked in. I talked to them as I played, a crowd gathering around me to study what I did. Then I heard, “Hey, Odango Atama! I didn’t realize you could play a video game that well.” That did it. I stood up, letting my character, Tuxedo Kamen ironically, die. The crowd groaned. I shrieked when I realized that there was a crowd there. After my shock, I remembered what had caused to sit down and play. I sighed and headed for the counter, slumping down on a stool, head on the counter. “What’s wrong Usagi-chan?” asked Mina-P. “I’m stuck here for another two months. I can’t go home and see my parents!” I buried my head in my arms as I started crying. All four girls immediately started to comfort me, but I just felt worse. When Motoki started, I had to get out of there, so I told them I was going for a walk and left. I got about four blocks before I realized that I didn’t know where I was going. My feet were taking me somewhere. Soon, I came across a park, and I wandered through that to a rose garden. It was really pretty. Suddenly, I heard a meow, and I felt something under my foot. I stepped back quickly, and saw I had stepped on a black kitty. “Oh, gomen nasai, Neko-chan!” I exclaimed, picking it up. It stopped yowling and looked at me, long and hard. Then it jumped from my hands and walked a few steps. It looked back at me. “What, you want me to follow you?” It seemed to nod, so I did, just for kicks. It walked back the way I had come from, and as we passed through the entrance, a white cat joined it. They stopped later, and I did too, a few steps back. I looked around and noticed that I was back at the arcade. The white cat came up to me and started to look at me. I kneeled down and started to pet his head. He purred in response, and the black one nudged my other hand. Soon, I had both cats purring like motors. “Man, if you weren’t cats, I would take you home with me. Ranma freaks out when a cat’s around.” I had noticed the funny bald spot on both of them, but I didn’t question it. “Hey, Usagi-chan! You’re back! And you’ve found our cats!” exclaimed Mina-P. “Huh?” I turned around, and saw the girls. They explained about the cats, and that they were allowed to roam free. Then the cats dashed off, and in their place was a pen and a locket thing. I shrugged and picked them up, interested. (I know that this seems long, but I haven’t even gotten to the weird part of the prologue. Sorry!) “What’s that?” asked Rei-chan. “Dunno. I found it on the ground where the kitties were.” I shrugged. “Actually, Usagi-chan, they’re full-grown cats,” said Ami-chan. “They’re awful small, though.” They agreed, and we headed inside. Half an hour later, this beeping noise started. I knew that it was their so-called pagers. “Go, I’ll be fine,” I said. They nodded and rushed off. I waited a bit before following them. I had gotten this theory about them. Following them was the only way to find out. In doing so, I discovered they had hidden in an alley by the park. I could hear screams, and I heard them talking to two voices I had never heard before: one female, that sounded British, and one male, that sounded American. Then there were these four colored light: blue, red, green, and an orangish one. Then the four senshi rushed out, followed by Luna and Artemis, the girls’ cats. “I knew it!” I whispered, pumped. I followed them, carefully until they were at the scene of the monster thing. I hid in the bushes, watching carefully. I noticed how they worked together really well, but that something was missing. Luna and Artemis were in thick of it, scratching when the opportunity arose. Then, Mercury was in front of me, shouting, and the monster’s attack came screaming right at her - and right at me. I couldn’t scramble away, so I stood up to move. Too late. Mercury dodged, and I closed my eyes as the attack headed for me. Suddenly, I was in the air with someone’s arms holding me the cradle position. I opened my eyes and looked up. There was Tuxedo Kamen, holding me. I sighed. “Thank-you, Mamoru-baka,” I said. He looked at me, shocked and we landed in the shadows. “What did you call me?” he asked. “Your name, of course, Mamoru-baka. What else?” I grinned and removed the mask. “Hiya! So, you’re the super-hero of the day, huh?” He stared at me, before grinning. “Odango, you’re one strange person. I like that.” “Thanks. C’mon, we better go check on the senshi.” He took his mask, put it back in place, and off we went. He carried me, which was kind of embarrassing. He murmured to me that we would have a talk later. I nodded, and we came to the senshi, standing around, congratulating themselves about their victory. Mars turned, sensing us, I assumed. “Tuxedo Kamen-sama! Hi! Oh! What’s she doing here?” Mars looked at me curiously. “I found her in the way of an attack aimed at Mercury. I figure she belonged with you four.” Tuxedo Kamen looked at me, grinned, and kissed my forehead. “She’s lucky I was around.” I blushed, and the locket I had found fell out of my pocket. “What’s this?” he asked, setting me down. “I don’t know. I found it earlier at the arcade.” He picked it up, or at least tried. His fingers came in contact with it, and he pulled back, as if it were fire. “What is it?” he asked, rubbing his fingers together. “It’s a transformation locket,” whispered Mercury. Tuxedo Kamen didn’t hear, but I did. “What?” I asked. “Is it for me?” “I think so,” said Venus slowly, looking at me. “Me too,” said Jupiter. “If you squint, you can see the resemblance between her and the dream scout.” “Huh?” I asked, totally confused. “Later, Usagi-san. Later,” said Mars. I nodded, and picked up the locket. “I should be going. Farewell!” Tuxedo Kamen took off. I shook my head. “He’s just as corny as he is at home,” I muttered. “So, Rei-chan, what is this about a dream scout?” “So, you know?” asked Mars as the others looked on in shock. “I knew you would follow us. I could feel your presence.” “Thought so. You are psychic. Ami-chan, Mako-chan, Mina-P, it’s just me. Don’t freak.” The four girls undid their transformations, and the five of us headed for the rose garden. There they explained, in a secluded spot, what the dream scout was: a scout whose face was never shown, and had powers greater than their own combined. After Mina-P had put my hair up in the twin buns, they all saw the resemblance to the hair. “And, you are the only who can actually pick up that locket,” added Luna. “Cool! So, I’m Sailor Moon? Just like the T.V. character?” I asked. “Huh?” was the unanimous response. “Never mind. Maybe I’ll explain before I leave.” “You can’t leave,” said Artemis. “As the Senshi of the Moon, you will be our leader until the princess is revealed to appoint one.” “Princess? You mean, the Moon Princess? Serenity?” I asked. “How’d you know about that?” asked Luna. “Long story, Luna-chan. Long story. Anyway, how do I transform?” “Shout, Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!” “’Kay! Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!” After a flash of multi-colored lights, I stood in an outfit similar to my new school uniform (Yuck!). The skirt and collar were blue, the bows, boots, choker, and these jewels in the buns were a reddish-pinkish color, and I had the locket in the middle of the chest bow. My boots had white trimming with gold crescent moons on them. My earrings, plain pearl before, had a gold star and crescent moon attached to them. My hair also had grown. The pony tails were now down to my knees. That was what freaked me out the most. “What happened to my hair?? It’s not supposed to be that long!” I nearly shrieked. “I don’t know, Usagi-chan. Maybe it’s supposed to be that long,” said Minako airily. I raised an eyebrow at her, but she didn’t seem to notice. I undid the transformation, my hair still the long length, and the five of us decided to go back to the arcade. “Motoki-kun is probably worried about you,” added Makoto. I gave her a look that said, Right Mako-chan, right. At the arcade, Mamoru was there, talking to Motoki. I decided that I’d make Mamoru come to me if he wanted to talk, so I sat down at the Sara Senshi game, or what it was called. To me, it was the Sailor Scout game, regardless of what they were called in Japan. See, the strange thing is, in America there was this show called Sailor Moon, with the five scouts and Tuxedo Mask, so that was what gave me the idea about the girls and Mamoru being who they were. Not to mention, there was a comic that originated in Japan, as did the show. So, yeah. Anyway, as I played, I decided to play my best, just to see how far I could go. I played for an hour straight, making it to the twentieth level. As my character, Tuxedo Kamen again, died, a bell started ringing. Everyone in the arcade headed for me, since the noise came from my game. The screen flashed, Highest Score!, over and over again. I entered my name in, and a prize fell onto my lap from some hidden opening. Picking it up, I saw it was a pink stick with intricate designs, and there was a crescent moon, gold, on the top. It was pretty big. I noticed that there was a little indent in the crescent moon, right above the stick, that seemed like it would hold something else. I stood up from the game and headed over to the girls, who had engaged both Mamoru and Motoki in conversation. “Usagi-chan, what was that all about?” asked Motoki. “I won a prize from the Senshi game, Toki-kun. See?” I held it up to show him. He backed up a step. The girls just stared at it. “Hey, Odango Atama-” “Usagi, Mamoru-san.” “Usagi-san, I need to talk to you.” Mamoru motioned me over to a booth in the cafe part of the arcade. We sat down. “So, what’s up?” I asked. “You know very well. How did you know?” “I guessed.” “Odango,” he said warningly. “You wouldn’t believe me if I tried, Mamoru-kun. Trust me.” “And why not, Usagi-chan?” “Because it’s very farfetched. If you really want to know, I found out from cartoon show that originated here and is played in America as a dub.” I shut my eyes and buried my head in my arms. “As if my day can’t get any worse,” I muttered. “Odango, you are strange. I like that. So, what T.V. show is it?” I brought my head up in shock. He looked serious. “You believe me?” He nodded. “Okay, it’s called Sailor Moon. And there’s these four scouts, or senshi, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter, and this guy, Tuxedo Mask, or Kamen. And, of course, Sailor Moon. She’s not real, I don’t think. Anyway, the show is about their fights with the Negaverse, or I suppose it would be Queen Metallia and Beryl, and these four generals, um, Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoicite, and Kunzite. Then after that it’s these two aliens, Ann and Alan, and then there’s the Nega Moon, or Black Moon, or something, and that’s got Birdie, Catsy, Avery, and Prisma, the four Weird Sisters (A.N.- I don’t know the Japanese names for them. Or the rest of the Nega Moon), and they were headed by Rubeus, who was headed by Prince Diamond, and he had two others under his control, Sapphire, his bro, and Emerald, this girl with the most annoying laugh, except for Zoicite, who’s a girl in America, but a boy here, because of his/her relationship with Kunzite. Anyway, they’re controlled by this guy named Wiseman, but they don’t know that. And Wiseman works for the Doom Phantom, and they’re from the future. They all followed this little pink-haired girl, named Chibi-Usa, or Rabbit as they called her, and she’s from the thirtieth century, and she’s the princess of Crystal Tokyo. But anyway, I’m probably telling you too much, because Pluto, if there is a Pluto, would kill me!” I stopped and sat back. Mamoru was trying to take everything in. “Okay,” he said slowly. “Right. Well, I don’t even know who we’re battling, but that’s okay, I guess. I don’t even know why I’m, well, you know.” “Right. Um, I gotta go. It’s almost dinner time. See ya!” I left him at the booth, said good-bye to Motoki and the girls, and headed outside. Ranma was there, waiting. “So, who’s the guy in the booth?” he asked. “That’s Mamoru-baka, Chiba Mamoru. He’s friends with Toki-kun, and the girls. Why?” “No reason, just gotta watch for the little Bunny.” He grinned and put his arm around my shoulder. “So, tell me about your day.” “Oh, you wouldn’t believe it...” Anyway, after that day, I was Sailor Moon, of the senshi. Queen Metallia turned out to be the enemy, and we defeated her after we discovered the Moon Princess. Unfortunately, Mamoru found out who we were, because of me. Anyway, I turned out to be the keeper of the soul of Serenity. I wasn’t meant to be Serenity, but I had to for a while. (A.N.- In case you’re wondering, I decided to follow the manga, not the anime.) Then, before Serenity could get her own body, we ended up facing the Black Moon. That was not pleasant for me, especially dealing with the bratty Chibi-Usa. I couldn’t believe that she was so mean. I was nice to her too, but she ended up stealing my crystal, and joining the Black Moon. We got her back, of course, but it wasn’t fun. She ended becoming a smaller version of Sailor Moon, so she was called Sailor Chibi-Moon, my way of revenge on her, since she hated being called Chibi-anything. Finally, Serenity got her own body, and was able to be with her Endymion, Mamoru, again. She kept my name, Usagi, but she used to the Silver Crystal to create a life for herself as Tsukino Usagi, age 17. It was the winter I was fifteen when that happened. I left Japan in August, stuck having to watch from the sidelines and call out advice. That was the worst. My parents had always ended up staying for extra time in these other places, and I figured it was the Silver Crystal doing that. She was also Sailor Moon, so I had no place in Tokyo anymore. I finally left Japan in the middle of August, on a plane to a large city near my own town. On the plane, I met a man from a town that was near our second stop in Colorado. His name was Daimen Shields, the same one who keeps touching my keys on the keyboard. Anyway, me and Daimen got to talking on the plane, since he and I, and about two other people, would be the only ones left on the plane after the first stop. It was rather strange. Anyway, we stopped, and almost the entire plane got off. Then we headed out again, to some city in Colorado. Before we could get there, we had to make an emergency landing, because the pilot had done something on accident, and the plane was, like, not working or something. The pilot had to go to the hospital after we landed in this little town called Yarkington. (A.N.- This isn’t a real town, I don’t think. I made it up for the purpose of this story.) Apparently, this was Daimen’s home town. The other two people were both, like twenty one, so they rented a car and left. I was stranded. No one in my family knew where I was, and my parents weren’t getting home until the next day anyway. I tried their cell phone from the one they sent me last summer, but I couldn’t get a hold of them. So, there I was, in a town I didn’t know, full of people who had no clue I existed. Luckily, Daimen offered me a spare room in his apartment. I accepted gratefully. That was the start of the next chapter of my, unfortunately, insane life.
