Hi minna! Yes, it is I! Keely, and back with a story! This one takes place in the silver M. But things are little different. Here is the list of things different. 1. The QUEEN Serenity has an Aunt 2. Serenity the princess has a twin 3. The twins live a long time….um yeah. Ok! That’s all I wanted to say! So enjoy the story and I hope you like it ne? Oh! Give me e-mail! I love it!!! :::::::::::::::Ch.1 Enchanted Evening: The VERY Beginning::::::::::::::::::::: The new heir to the thrown, Queen Serenity, stared at the love stricken dancers with a winsome expression. Resting her head on the palm of her hand (In a very un-queen like manner) she sighed, her blue eyes starting to glaze over. *I wonder when I’ll be able to feel like that…* She thought. *All the men at the moon party were either with some one, or just rude. It’s unfair. Every one has some one but me. Even Aunt Pol has a husband!* “Enjoying your self dear?” asked a rather cheerful voice from her left. Serenity turned her head, her long silver hair trailing after her. “Oh yes, tons. Aunt Pol, are all coronations this boring?” “Usually dear. Now then, why aren’t you dancing with any of the handsome young men here?” Pol asked, hands on hips and black hair escaping the loose braid. “They’re rude and inconsiderate. They only want power. Aunt Pol, you said that when mother met father, they heard bells. Why can’t I hear bells?” “Because dear, the right one hasn’t come along yet.” “The right one?” “Oh dear.” Pol sighed as she sat down next to her niece. She was about to explain the process to her when she herself heard bells. Looking up she saw a man with striking blue eyes and golden hair walk around the dance floor, his face showing boardom. Pol looked at Serenity and smiled. Her niece’s back was strait and her eyes were also following the man. “Dear, go welcome the boy! You’re the queen now, and he’s not from around here, it’s impolite not to greet him. Now go.” With a final push Pol sent her niece next to the punch bowl, where the young man had stopped. She watched with satisfaction as the two began a conversation and then began to dance. *About damned time! She said with a sigh of relief.* *Watch your language. Every thing is going according to plan. You’ll be doing the wedding of course.* Said a soft voice in Pol’s head. *Right. How hard could a wedding be?* Pol heard her mother chuckle. * You’ll be surprised.* Were her mother’s final words before she left. Pol shrugged her shoulders and continued to watch her niece with a smile and motherly glow. ~*~*~*~ Four Months Later ~*~*~*~ “Serenity hold still!” Cried Pol and the dressmaker together as they tried to desperately save the clips from coming undone from the wedding dress. “But I can’t help it! The weddings today! What if I mess up? What if-if the reception gets messed up!? Or the wedding night-” “What if the crystal suddenly bursts? Or what if your precious husband runs off with some one else!? Really Serenity, calm down. You’ll do fine. You’ll have the rest of your life to ask the what ifs, but for now, just worry about how wonderful every thing is going to be today. Now hold still.” Said Pol as she started to sew the final touches to the large wedding dress. The dress was wonderfully made of silk, pearls, and gold. The train was made of teen feet of lace, and her empire waist lined with both gold and pearls. Adding the pale pink lip-gloss and light blue eye powder to her niece’s face, she smiled. She was perfect. “Now look.” She commanded Serenity. And as Serenity did so she couldn’t believe it was her. Touching her fact with shaking hands Serenity gaped openly at herself. She was pretty! No, beautiful! She smiled and threw arms around her beloved aunt. She cried for a bit, but Aunt Pol didn’t seem to mind in the least. Drying her tears, Serenity took her aunt’s arm and beamed a truly brilliant smile. “I’m ready Aunt Pol.” Pol smiled back and when the lunarain wedding music began she and Pol walked out. Triun, Serenity’s soon to be husband inhaled so long, his face took on a slightly blue look before he was able to breath again. Serenity giggled and Triun blushed. “Take good care of her Triun.” Said Pol with a hint of a threat in her voice. Triun nodded his head nervously and then took Serenity’s hand, which seemed to calm him down almost emidatly. The wedding itself was rather short. And once that was over and done with, the people partied. Men drank till they were drunk, and women retired for the evening seeing as the couldn’t stand the harassment any longer. Pol watched with a smirk as the bride and groom slipped quietly out of the dining hall. These men would wake up late with a headache, however the queen and king would wake up with something other than a headache. Pol giggled and then retired to her own room for the night. ~*~*~*~ Next Morning ~*~*~*~ Triun looked at his wife with a soft smile. She looked especially beautiful in the morning. The sun made her silver hair glitter and her black eye lashes fluttered every now and then against her pale face. He ran a hand through her long silver hair, savoring the soft silky feeling. “Good morning love.” She said softly, her eyes still closed. “Are you enjoying my hair?” He blushed and then laughed, bringing his wife closer to him. How he loved her. “Time to get up and get to work.” She said regretfully as she got up. However, Triun wasn’t done yet. He pulled her back down. “What in the name of the moon are you doing!?” She exclaimed as she landed on the warm mattress again. “Were king and Queen. We can do what ever we want.” “Yes, but duty before play love.” He raised a brow. “When did you get so wise?” She blushed faintly and looked away. Something was wrong. He frowned. “What’s wrong? I’m sorry if I said something-” “NO!” She cut him off sharply, still blushing. “I-It’s not that…” “Then what is it.” “I’m pregnant ok!?” She exclaimed, her face flaming crimson. Triun stood very still. And Serenity began to worry. “Dear?” No reply. “Triun?” No reply. “Um, love?” Silence. “W-” ‘What? Did you say something?” Serenity asked hopefully. “Were having a baby!?” He yelled as he scooped her up. A silly grin on his face. He jumped up and spun her around. Serenity laughed merrily, reminding herself of bells. He set her down quickly. “You shouldn’t be up and about though. I’ll get cook to bring you breakfast today.” Before she could respond he was gone. Pole was wandering down the hall when she heard running feet behind her. Turning around she was able to jump out of the way before the king ran her over. He skidded to a stop and then ran back to her, giving her a hug. “Were having a baby!” “I know.” Pol said airily, her face a mask of serene calm. “I’m getting cook to bring her something to bed.” “Oh dear. Not one of them again.” “One of what Aunt Pol?” He had long gotten used to calling her that. Pol sighed and put an arm around his shoulder. “She’s fine. She needs good food and exercise. If she doesn’t then when she has the baby she’ll be quite over weight. Also, pampering her isn’t very good either. She can take care of her self. It’s much too early to tell any one else of this, so calm down and wait until signs are visible. Now then, leave my niece to me.” Without some much as another word Pol went towards her niece’s room, leaving a stunned king in the halls. ~*~*~*~ Eight Months Later ~*~*~*~ “Aunt Pol, does it have to hurt so much?” asked Serenity as she felt another kick in her stomach. Pol set down her teacup with a smile. “Not to worry dear, it’s only natural a baby should kick. Besides, it’s going to come out soon. Do you know what its going to be?” Serenity smiled a smile that only mothers could. “A girl. Oh Aunt Pol, I can see her right now! She’s so lovely! I hope she comes out soon!” Pol laughed ruefully. “You won’t be saying that when it does come.” “Oh?” Pol merely laughed at her niece’s expression. “Never mind. You’ve been very quite these past few days. And I’ve also noticed you looking out at the window late night. Don’t give that look. I know when you’ve been doing things. Now what’s wrong?” Pol watched Serenity fidget and turn her eyes down cast. Finally Serenity turned her deep blue eyes (which were a royal trait) towards her, her eyes holding a fathoming sadness. “Aunt Pol,” She began. “I’ve been reading the prophecy books. All I know is that my daughter will change the world. And that before that, a great sadness will come. Aunt Pol, I’m going die, aren’t I?” Pol sat very still. Her face was a mask of calmness, but her mind was reeling with shock. Suddenly it stopped. *Get a grip Pol!* Came her mother’s voice crisply. *Calm down and listen to me. This was meant to happen. She should at least get the fair warning of it.* *You mean she will die?* Thought Pol sadly. *Yes. Come coronation time, you will have to make a choice. It won’t happen for at least year. So don’t worry until the time comes.* Pol snapped out of her mind when she heard her niece call her worriedly. “Serenity, dear. You’ll be fine. Don’t worry about it now; worry about it when the time comes. So how are you doing?” Pol changed the quickly and Serenity, who seemed to like the idea, followed her lead. “I’m doing well. But my baby won’t let me forget she’s here, she keeps kicking me!” “Yes well, that’s not all she’s letting you forget.” “Aunt Pol!” Serenity cried. “That was uncalled for!” Pol merely laughed and stood up. “I’ll see you in two hours.” Pol said. Serenity gave her a quizzical look. “Why?” “Because you’ll be in labor by then.” ~*~*~*~ Three Hours Later ~*~*~*~ “Push Serenity! That’s it! There! She’s out!” A cry filled the air and Serenity sighed before starting to relax. “Not yet dear.” Said Pol as she stroked her head. “You still have one more to go.” “What!?” Cried Serenity in tired shock. Suddenly she went into contractions again and she was thrown back into the pain. I can’t do this. There’s too much pain. Serenity thought as she started to give up. She heard Pol cry for her hold on, but she couldn’t. *Stay with us Serenity. Your daughters need you. We need you.* Said a gentle voice inside her head. Serenity was suddenly filled with warmth and she woke up just in time to hear her aunt cry for her to push. She gathered her will and pushed with all her might. All was quite and after a few seconds a baby’s wail was heard. Serenity cried in relief and after the sweat and tears were dried and cleaned she was handed her two twin daughters. Serenity looked at each of them with a mother’s love. “The one on right is the oldest by two minutes.” Said Pol as she started to brush Serenity’s hair. The baby on the right had a shock of blond hair like her father. In fact, if she had been a boy, she would have been an exact image of her father. “What are you going to name them?” asked Pol quietly. Serenity was silent for a bit then smiled. “The one with silver hair shall be Selene. Serenity, the oldest will be named Serenity.” She smiled. “It’s a family tradition to name the oldest that.” Pol smiled. “I know. Your mother was named Serenity too. I was named Pol. For the Pol star that watches over the moon. Well now that you’ve had your baby’s with you, I think it’s time for them to take a nap. Sleep now Serenity, and dream about your life with your little Selene and Serenity.” Serenity smiled and slept. ~*~*~*~ One Year Later ~*~*~*~ “Selene, why is mother running around like that?” Asked the year old daughter Serenity in “twin”. “I don’t know. I thought I heard mother muttering some thing about a coronation or something.” Said Selene, Serenity’s younger sister. The two were unable to talk any more as their Aunt picked them up and began to dress them. Serenity giggled and began to undo her buttons. “You stop that.” Said their aunt’s voice sharply. Serenity stopped and let her aunt redo the buttons. “What are we dressing up for?” Asked Selene. “I don’t know. Here comes mommy and daddy.” The two girls had quick minds, and thanks to their aunt, were busy trying to figure out a puzzle. It kept changing shape, and so they had fun trying to put it together again. Their mother picked them up and kissed them. “Well girls, it’s time to start. I hope you don’t mind being ducked into water.” “We mind!” the girls said in twin to there mother. She didn’t notice. Serenity and Selene clasped their chubby hands together and were then whisked away to a large dome like room. The room its self was beautiful and mystical. The walls swirled in blues and purples and large lights that produced a mist were hanging above them like fireflies. The two twins, much to their displeasure, were separated. Selene and Serenity were dunked into water and by the time they started to wail their aunt came and quickly dried them. “Dears, you’re going to meet the silver crystal.” She said as she held them up by the hand. “What’s that?” Asked the ever-questioning Serenity. “How should I know? Sounds pretty though.” And indeed it was. Their mother brought it out and the girls felt a gentle pulse in it as they touched it. Warmth surrounded them and they never realized that they were glowing and a moon symbol had appeared upon the foreheads. *This is it Pol. It’s time to choose.* Said Pol’s mother as Pol watched the twins glow. *Whatever it is I’ll do it. Said Pol determinedly.* *Very well. Your task, to protect the Moon line. The god’s will be watching you Pol, and so will I.* *I wont fail you mother.* Said Pol as tears started to well in her eyes. * I know.* And then she was gone. Pol dried tears and looked at the twins. One day (Hope fully not soon Pol hoped.) she was to protect them. One day. The glowing faded with the crowed and King Triun ran up to them, scooping them up and crying with happiness. The two girls tried desperately to try to stop the fluid but he just waved their small hands away and hugged them each, telling them over and over that he loved them. Their mother joined and together the left the hall. The two parents told the children they loved them, and as long as they promised not to cause trouble in the palace, they wouldn’t punish them. However, they never said outside the palace. ~*~*~*~ One Year Later ~*~*~*~ “Serenity! Selene! Where in the name of the moon are you!?” Cried the twin’s frantic maid. The girls, who had been hiding in the bushes, giggled and crawled away towards their favorite pond. Serenity and Selene, who were now two, had caused more trouble the four kids put together. And it didn’t help that they had learned to translocate. Giggling the two girls spoke in twin. Sure, they could speak small words in Lunarian, but they preferred twin when talking to each other. “Poor Thila.” Said Selene, the more caring and conservative of the two. Serenity on laughed. “But it’s so fun to see the grown-ups run around. And if we go to a tree, then they look like little aunts!” the two laughed. “I thought I find you here.” Said a familiar voice behind them. Turning around the two infants found their aunt staring at them, her black hair in its normal loose braid and her deep blue eyes shining with laughter. She bent down and smiled. “Me and my sister used to hid here too. Its fun to watch them run around isn’t it?” The girls giggled and she took that as yes. Serenity crawled to her aunt and Selene followed. Their aunt scooped them up. “Lets get you back to your mother. News your gone will probably worry her.” Standing up with each child in her arms, she made her way towards their mother’s room. “Hello Aunt Pol. Selene Serenity!” Said their mother as she ran up to them and hugged and kissed them. The girls squirmed in their aunt’s arms and were put into their mothers. “Better be careful dear, these two are too smart for their age. They’re driving the staff up the walls.” “They need the exercise.” The queen said lightly as she sat down and played with her children’s growing hair. Pol laughed. “I’m starting to rub off on you. I’ll take it as a compliment.” The two women laughed and Serenity fed her daughters. “Aunt Pol, about Earth.” “Ah yes Earth. I would go ahead and sign the peace treaty. Though they are certainly not as advanced as we are, they are quite nice. I’ve met quite a few women who are extremely smart and ‘down to earth’ as the like to call it.” “What a funny expression.” Said the queen as she set the girls on the floor. Then her eyes darkened. “I’m worried about it though.” “Oh?” asked Pol with a slightly raised eyebrow. “If we sign the treaty, will they demand from us? Were peaceful people. We don’t need them depending on us all of the time.” Her aunt laughed. “Dear, think of Earth as a baby.” “A baby?” “Yes. They’re premature and don’t know right from wrong. No offence.” She said to the twins who were glaring at her. “Earth needs us to help teach and raise them. Then, when they’re able to stand on their own two feet, you can have all your hard work paid off.” “Oh?” “Of course! All that hard work you put into raising them will come back. They’ll help you battles and peace planning and the like. Just have patience with them. Just like children. Now then. Go ahead and sign them. I’ll give it to them myself since I intend to build a nice house down by a lake I saw.” With the wave of her hand Pol produced the document and handed it to her niece, who signed it. “There. I’ll leave this instant. Good by dear, children.” With a kiss and hug to all three she teleported away. “There’s your aunt Pol for you. I hope you grow up just like her. She’d die if she heard that.” The queen laughed and her daughters joined her. “What’s all the laughing about?” asked Triun as he walked in. Serenity and Selene crawled over to their father and he picked them up in a huge hug. “The staff seems to have gotten trimmer.” He remarked as he sat next to his wife. “I told aunt Pol that very thing. Good thing we have these two girls here to keep them that way!” The couple laughed and Serenity and Selene, getting bored of this talk, crawled out of the room, leaving their parents to make other ‘enjoyments.’ “Selene, what’s that?” asked Serenity as she pointed her baby hand towards a hopping white animal with long ears. “That’s a rabbit. I’ve held one before. They’re really soft.” Serenity watched the animal hop around and longed to touch it. But knew it would most likely run away. “Selene! Look there’s Earth!” Cried Serenity as she pointed to the starry sky. The two looked up and saw a green and blue planet with white swirls going around it. “Wow! It’s pretty. I wonder if we’ll ever it to visit it?” said Selene as she laid on her back. “Yeah. Aunt Pol said that she has a home there, so maybe she’ll let us visit.” Said Serenity as she joined her sister. “You know what Serenity?” “What?” “Let’s never let go of each other.” Serenity turned her head towards her sister and smiled, her pink curled. “Deal.” The two pink promised and then stood up on shaky two-year-old legs. Clasping hands the two walked carefully to their home. ~*~*~*~ Seven Months Later ~*~*~*~ “Happy birthday dears!” said the twin’s mother as she handed them each a present. The now three girls smiled and unwrapped the presents. Opening the colorfully rapped boxes the girls gasped in delight. In side were necklaces with a flat moon silver surface. “Look carefully girls.” Said Triun as kneeled down. The girls looked at their necklaces and drew them so close their noses practically touched the shining silver. As they looked they noticed the Lunarian writing on it. “Dei…in…..sen…liben….goren.” The girls said stimously and as soon as they stopped a light appeared in front of them. As it faded to a dim the lights shot towards the silver necklaces and transformed the flat surfaces into two emblems. One of the moon, the other of the sun. “Since your mother is from the moon and I from the sun, we decided that each of you should be able to rule a country.” Said Triun as he put an arm around his wife’s waist, a smile on his lips and his deep blue eyes shining with pride. The girls smiled at each other and then ran to their parents, showering them with hugs and kisses. This was indeed a happy birthday. “Surprise! Happy birthday girls!” Said a familiar voice behind them. Turning around they saw their aunt Pol bearing gifts. They ran to her and she hugged them before giving them their presents. The girls unwrapped the gifts and took delight in the fine soft material that felt like water running through their hands and the necklaces of weird green. “That’s silk, I’ll be making them into dresses when you become ladies. And those green rocks are called jade. It’s very rare on Earth. And here is one last present.” She took out two hankies and handed on each to the twins. They carefully unwrapped them and then frowned. “What’s this Aunt Pol? It’s brown and it smell funny.” Their aunt laughed. “its called chocolate Selene. It’s very sweet. Better than moon rocks!” “Really?” Asked the twin’s stimously. Pol nodded and had them take a bite. And indeed, it tasted better than moon rocks (A hard candy that’s gray.). “Wow! Mommy, daddy! Try it!” Said Selene as she handed a tiny bit of her chocolate to her parents. They ate it and also agreed it tasted quite good. “You’ll have to bring some more back when you go to Earth next time. Well, now that every thing is settled down, lets go eat supper.” Said Serenity and picked up her children. Triun on the other hand stayed where he was and Pol frowned. “Some thing wrong dear?” she asked merely for the sake of it. If she had a say in it, she would have demanded it. “It’s about the Dark Days.” “Oh.” There wasn’t much more you could say about it. The Dark Days were a group of misfits who were trying to take over the inner voices (planets). They weren’t having much luck, and their god-Koran- wasn’t giving them much support. Only Beryl. His first decibel, was smart enough to gain power by herself. But she was still young, and often made mistakes that didn’t please him very much. “They’re taking over Pol. Slowly, but they’re doing it. They’ve already taken Pluto. They held a siege and made sure no money or food was given or grown. They’re already working on Venus.” Said Triun with worry. Pol smiled reassuringly. Though inside she wasn’t feeling nearly as confident. “Not to worry Triun. They may have been smart enough to hold out a city, but they’re not going to get any farther than Uranus. That planet is brutal, and with Neptune to back it up there’s not much hope for the Dark Days to take over. Now stop worrying and join your family. Your daughters just turned three.” Pol pointed out. Triun laughed. “Need you remind me!? I feel old enough as it is! Besides, they’re still very young.” “Ah yes. But believe me, they grow up rather fast. By the time the moon shadows come (autumn) they’ll be all grown up. Now lets go.” Arms linked, the king and his aunt walked to join his family. ~*~*~*~ Three Years Later ~*~*~*~ Days turned to months, and months turned to years, and pretty soon the king and queen’s daughters were six. They were each finished learning English (The Earth language) and were able to write, read, and speak each planets language. Through this time, the girls each gained their own characteristics. Selene was more quite and not so brash as her older sister was. She was very determined when it came to being clean. Unlike her sister, she loved to study. She would spend hours in the library devouring every thing. Serenity never understood it, and wouldn’t until she was much older. Serenity was a life all her own. She loved being free. She would spend hours and days in trees talking to birds (Which surprised as she was, took it rather well and began to talk back) and riding around on moon dear (White glowing stags.). Serenity being the free spirit. Always had her waist length golden hair down, which left it in tangles when she came home. Selene, the ever-cleaning sister would brush her hair and this soon became a nightly ritual. Queen Serenity had often frowned and brooded over her eldest daughter and her husband would only laugh and hug her. “I was just like her until I twelve. Just let her run around free for another year or two and she’ll soon grow tired of it.” Serenity would only sigh and hug her husband back, though privately disagreeing with him. It was on a blustery spring day that the twins mother came in and told them they were going to stay with their aunt for a spell. The girls laughed and hugged and kissed their mother and father, though they weren’t as an enthusiastic about it. With common thought, the children believed they were sad because they would be leaving them for a while. How untrue it was. “I wish this had never happened.” Cried the queen to Triun. Triun, also in tears hugged her fiercely. “Nor I. But we have to. And they did. All we can do is make sure our children are safe. Pol will take care of them. And she’ll make sure nothing every happens to them. Come, their time to leave is in ten minutes. Let’s give it to them now.” Serenity sadly nodded her silver head and the two went to the teleport station where their aunt and daughters were. “Now remember girls, no foreign languages around Earthlings.” Said Triun as he gave them each a hug. “And remember to bring me tons of chocolate when you come back!” The group laughed and then Serenity lifted her daughters up, giving them each a hug before setting them down. “Girls, me and daddy have decided to give you something very important. And you must take very good care of it.” The girls nodded their heads solemnly. Taking out the silver crystal (Which had been in a case) she gently used her will to brake it evenly in half. Creating two silver chains she put the crystals on each girls necks. “Take care of it, and your selves alright.” The girls nodded their heads and with tears they flung themselves into their father and mothers arms. With a teary good by and a meaning full look to Pol, Triun and Serenity turned back to their glowing silver palace on the moon. For the last time. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: The End ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: WAAAI! I’m done with the first chapter! (Peace sign!) But now I have to do the second one….cool! So tell me what you think k!
