The Story Line in Cutey Honey is pretty simplistic. In th first two videos, Lord Dolmeck, (The king of darkness) Is starting to take over the city with darkness. Then Honey Kisaragi, When under attack, remembers her powers, and changes into Cutey Honey The Lovely Warrior, and then beats on Dolmeck, and his goons! If you don't know who Cutey Honey is, I can Sum her up by saying she's a crime fighter who can change her clothes, and at the same time gains the abilities of whatever she changes into. Did I mention she gets naked in the process?!?!?!
You can barely tell that Cutey Honey is an older title because of the smooth fast paced animation. The character Animation is very good too! The only animation problem is that the fourth video looks kind of off. The animation is a lot different in all of the other videos. (Maybe it's just me?)
There are a lot of funny characters in Cutey Honey. I just kind of get tired of the american voices for a few of them. Chokkei to be blunt!! But besides that, No one can get tired of seeing Grampa Danbei. A sex-crazed machine ninja in his 60's He's definatly the best character! What's not to like? hee hee ^_^
A Bunch of catchy, and bouncy songs play throughout the series. The main theme song for both japanese and american versions are great. But I like the end theme song for tapes 3, and 4 the best. I forgot what the name of that song was.
Cutey Honey is filled with lots of action scenes, humerous lines, and characters, and how can you not like the nudity with no purpase? I think Go Nagi thried his hardest to stuff this series with as much entertainment as he could.
