The CZ-100 is one of the Major Kusanagi uses in the film. It is manufactured by Ceska Zbrojovka, a.s. of the Czech Republic. It is a compact, polymer-frame 9mm autoloader. The CZ-100 also uses a hexagonal barrel for better reliability and controllability. The CZ-100, according to Ceska Zbrojovka, was originally designed for law enforcement personnel as a on/off-duty sidearm. Although it is not fitted with one in the film, the CZ-100 also comes with a quick attachment laser sight system similar to the laser module attachment for the Heckler and Koch USP.
