Bateaus' "Standard Issue Big-Gun". Let me tell you right now, you may have seen some HUGE hand held anti-tank guns before but this thing would and will beat ANYTHING out there. The 'Getemono' is a massive(and I mean MASSIVE) over the shoulder anti-armour gun that's part of Bateaus' personal collection(man what I'd give to have his collection ^_^), it's also the gun that saves Kusanagis ass at the end of the movie. The SPIW fires 20mm discarding sabot shells with a 14.5mm penetrator(hence the name Mini 14). The Getemono isn't used to firing in rapid succesion and is very prone to jamming if forced to. The SPIW has a number of ways to lessen the recoil of the large gun (thank God for that), including a muzzle brake, upper back support and a backblast system(much like a recoiless rifle or a disposable anti-tank gun).
