Mina/Minako is very friendly, but kinda clumsy and tardy like Serena/Usagi. She was the first Scout to learn about her powers after finding Artemis in her seventh grade gym class. Mina/Minako had a very sad past, though. To transform she says:

Sailor Venus made her first appearance not as Venus, but as Sailor V. You would see mangas and video games with her on it throughout the first part of the series. When Sailor Venus did arrive, she appeared as saved the other soldiers from Malachite's evil clutches. From then on out, she was apart of the Sailor team.
