Hotaru is the daughter of Professer Souichi Tomoe.
Her mother died in a fire in his lab. Hotaru almost died too years later. Professor Tomoe sold his soul to Pharoah 90, to save his only daughther.
She became the evil Mistress 9, and Professor Tomoe was possed by Pharoah 90.
Hotaru faught off the entity Mistress 9, and won. She became Sailor Saturn, The pretty suited soldier of death and rebirth. She dies, but is reincarnated. In the end of Sailor Moon S, she is taken home by her father.
The rest of the Outer Senshi kinda disapear in Sailor Moon Super S. They return in Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.
In the Anime the senshi never become Eternal. In the Manga they do. Here is a picture of Hotaru as Eternal Sailor Saturn.
