But soon, Mima's bestfriend gets her a job on a latenight drama. Also, at the sametime, she helps Mima learn about the internet and gets her hooked up to it also. One night, Mima goes browsing for Cham websites, she finds one dedicated to her so she checks it out. Then...the horror begins.......
Perfect Blue is a dizzing mindblowing thiller that will leave with your jaw haning open and your mind spinning. With spectaculat visuals and a gripping plot line, Perfect Blue is soon to become an Anime classic. At first, the plotline is hard to follow, but once you get into it, every thing becomes much clearer. When I first saw it in the video store, I looked at it and said to myself "oo...a new anime...cool...I gotta put it on my list". Little did I know that that very weekend I would be sitting in my living room with my two best friends watching it.
Even though it was the middle of the day and very warm out, I was chilled to the bone after watching the movie. Questions and ideas kept spinning my brain and I was slightly overwhelmed. After discussing what a surpise and treat it was to see such a wonder peice of art, we talked about the movie it's self. The general consensus was "That was one damn good movie".
Although Perfect Blue is great movie, it's not for the younguns' eyes. There are some disturbing things in the movie that left me chilled and cold. Even some of the subject matter was little bit too harsh for my 15 year old mind at the time. Although it was a thiller, it was like a scary movie too, if you think about it. I was really wondering afterward if things really like that happen in Japan, or even in the US. It really makes you think just how awful the world really is..... I give Perfect Blue an A!

:Back:
