Slayers: The Motion Picture
I really like the Slayers, it's a great anime series, so by falut, the movie was gonna be good too ^_^. It starts out with a young boy with blue hair. He says something and then it fades away. Suddenly we see Lina wake up. She had been sleeping under a tree. Lina goes on her way, but not with out enountering some bandits. Of course she handles them with an explosion. Lina goes on and she's at a beach, of course stuffing her face on seafood. Suddenly, the bandits come agian, but this time they have a friend. This "friend" happens to be Naga, Lina's "most beutiful and closest rival". Naga finds out that the bandits are bad people and Lina and Naga both dispose of them. They serch thier belongings and Naga comes accros free tickets to some hot springs. She grabs Lina and off they go on thier adventure. I don't have time to type all that happened, but it's a very entiertaining movie. The ending is great, with Lina doing a Dragon Slave to defeat a bothersome demon. With the first scene I could tell that this movie was made for the theater and not my little 13 inch in my room. The art and colors were so bright and vibrant. Oh..how I wished I could have seen it in the theater. *sigh* and I am still wating to see the X movie in theaters too. Anyway, I am getting of track. At times, the movie could be alittle hard to follow if you didn't pay attention. (which, BTW I wasn't) I watched it again, and now I get the idea of the movie. Personally, I loved it speaking as a Slayers fan. But not as a slayers fan, I'd give it a B-. The story line was alittle irrelavent and Naga's grated on my nerves. All in all, I give Slayers: The Motion Picture a B+
