Chapter 2

"Darien, can I tell you something?" Serena asked Darien while in the park.

"Anything," he answered. He put his arm around her shoulder.

"Darien, I've had this feeling that something drastic will happen on our wedding day. I had a dream about it the other night," explained Serena.

"Like what?" Darien asked, listening closely.

"Well, the dream included the moment we were married. I then went to throw the bouquet. Raye and the girls were trying to catch it when a man walked up looking for you. When you identified yourself, he called a human fused with a spider. It grabbed you away, and I ran trying to grab your hand. I almost had your hand when you disappeared. This nightmare scared me so bad. What if it really happens? I don't want to lose you!" Serena started to cry. Darien held her close as she cried. He tried comforting her.

"Don't worry, Serena. I'll always be with you," he whispered in her ear. This calmed Serena. She leaned against his shoulder as she was watching the sunset go down. A very calm feeling went through her body. Knowing her one eternal love was with her always made her feel calm in a bad situation.

"Quit shoving, Raye! I can't see!" whispered Mina trying to keep Raye away from her view of Darien and Serena. Raye didn't listen to her, so she shoved Mina out of the way. The two were soon in a fight for the perfect view.

"Raye! Mina! Please! They'll hear us!" scolded Lita in a small voice. The two fighting girls soon stopped.

"Darien, I wish Rini could come to our wedding. It would mean so much to me if she came," Serena said.

"I agree with you. It would be nice to see her again," agreed Darien. The peeping girls soon had a wonderful idea. They would invite Rini to the wedding as a surprise for Serena. They knew she would love to come to her future parents' wedding. They quickly ran from their spot when Raye tripped and fell on top of Mina. This collision made Mina yell at Raye. Serena whipped her head around to see the girls all in one pile. She got angry.

"Why do y'all always spy on me?" Serena said in an angry voice. Amy quickly got up and told a little white lie.

"We were just passing through the park when we saw you and Darien sitting on the bench. We tried to leave you be, but Raye tripped and fell on top of Mina who fell on top of me and I fell on top of Lita," explained Amy. Mina was surprised that Amy told this lie just to save their necks from Serena. She knew she owe her big.

"Well, if that's what happened," said Serena. She knew Amy would never lie to her. Raye, Lita, Mina, and Amy quickly left. Serena walked back to the bench Darien was sitting on and sat down next to him. He leaned in and gave her a kiss. She thought how lucky she was, her wedding day in a week. She leaned her head on Darien's shoulder when Trista walked by. Serena immediately jumped up in surprise. "Trista! What are you doing here? Is something wrong in the future?"

"Nothing wrong. My 2nd guard told me I needed a vacation so I came here. He's taking my place while I'm gone plus I'd never miss your own wedding," said Trista. Serena was so relieved.

Darien got up and asked, "How's Rini?"

"Rini's doing just fine," Trista answered. "She did mention that she would ask her mother about coming to your wedding."

"Oh, Trista, I can't wait to see her. Do you have a place to stay?" Serena asked. Trista nodded her head.

"I must go now. See you soon!" Trista exclaimed as she walked away. Serena sat back down on the bench. Darien then sat down next to her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Darien, about my dream, what if a new evil appears?" said Serena.

"Well, we'll fight it just like before," he answered. This made Serena feel better. All of a sudden, a scream shot through the air and scared Serena. She grabbed Darien in fear.

"What was that?" said Serena in a scared voice. Darien looked around to see where the scream came from. He closed his eyes.

"Serena, that was a scream for help. Let's check it out," he said. The two got up and ran towards the direction of the scream. The scream was coming from a woman against some kind of board. Serena was surprised to see a Tiger's Eye look-a-like.

"Darien, it's Tiger's Eye!" The man then turned his head.

"My brother was Tiger's Eye. I am Lion's Eye, even more powerful than him. Come, Remlise Iko, destroy this couple!" said Lion's Eye as he whipped his whip to the ground.

"Iko here. Now who wants to play "Tear People Apart!"? Iko threw strong wires at Darien and Serena. Darien was too elusive for the wires, but the wires caught Serena very easily.

"Serena!" he screamed. He could see the agony in her face as the wires dug into her skin.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!" she screamed. Darien tried to yank the wires off of Serena, but the shock from the wires knocked him cold. "Darien," said Serena in a weak voice. Her eyes were closed, yet she could see Lion's Eye laughing.

Something soon relieved the pressure from the wires because they disappeared from her body. Serena fell softly to her knees. "Darien," she said in a weak voice.

"Your little prince is mine now. You can't get him back!" laughed Lion's Eye.

"How dare you try to hurt the love of my life! I will not stand to see it," said Serena in a strong voice. Her energy was being restored quickly.

"What are you going to do about it?" said Lion's Eye. "Iko, come and destroy this brat!"

"Iko is back to rid the world of good!" Iko screamed as he threw a power ball at Serena. Serena managed to get away by running into a bushy area in the park. She watched as Iko returned to Lion's Eye. Lion's Eye then turned his attention back to his original target.

Serena overheard Lion's Eye saying, "I will find the dreams and heart crystal of that bratty Moon Princess if it's the last thing I do. This girl isn't the one." The young girl he had captured fell to the ground. Serena was scared. Lion's Eye was after her dream mirror and heart crystal. What did Lion's Eye know that she didn't?

"Darien, if only you were here," she cried softly.

"Don't be scared, Serena," said Luna as she walked up. Serena looked up to see her guardian walking towards her.

"Luna, why are you here?" she asked

"I am here to give you a transformation brooch to fight Lion's Eye. Your old one that allowed you to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon will be no use against him. Take this brooch. It will transform you into Neo Sailor Moon, the most powerful form of Sailor Moon. Hold it high in the air and shout, 'Neo Crystal Moon Power!'," explained Luna. She tossed the brooch to Serena. Serena quickly followed Luna's instructions.

"Neo Crystal Moon Power!" Serena shouted. What happened next was the birth of a new Sailor Moon. Pink, sparkling ribbons shot out of her new brooch, surrounding Serena. She was then cased in a crystal. The crystal then broke with a sparkling white light. Neo Sailor Moon was now in existence. Luna then said to hurry and stop Lion's Eye.

"Iko, go find that girl that tried to stop us and destroy her that way she won't try again," said Lion's Eye.

"I don't think so," said a voice. Lion's Eye looked around. "I'm right here, stupid." Neo Sailor Moon appeared out of the shadows. Her outfit consisted of a skirt just like the Super Sailor Moon form had, a white leotard with a winged bow with the new brooch in the center on top. Her gloves with red trimming sparkled under the moonlight. Her red boots with a silver top showed a gold moon. Her tiara was made of gold with a gold moon on it. Her hair had winged barrettes in it, and red circles edged in silver covered the front of the balls of hair. On her ears were small pearls holding a gold moon. Her collar was blue with three gold stripes. Her choker was a yellow band around her neck with a red heart.

"Who are you?" questioned Lion's Eye.

"I am Neo Sailor Moon, champion of love, peace, and justice. In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" Neo Sailor Moon said as she did the traditional Sailor Moon pose.

"What can you do that will stop me?" asked Lion's Eye as he tried to muffle a laugh.

"First, I can kick your poor excuse for a monster's butt, then I can revive the man and young girl you have captive. Finally, I can destroy you," Neo Sailor Moon said. Lion's Eye signaled to Iko. Iko sprinted up and pinned Neo Sailor Moon to a tree.

"Let me go, you evil creature!" she screamed. Iko just laughed.

"I will take your heart crystal and dream mirror first," he said. Something then hit Iko in the back. "AAHHHHHH! What struck me?" he said as he let go of Neo Sailor Moon. Neo Sailor Moon scrambled to her feet. To her surprise stood Tuxedo Mask.

"He's ok," she thought in happiness.

"How dare you try to harm a sailor scout of good, you evil monster! I, Tuxedo Mask, will not allow it to take place. Go, Neo Sailor Moon!" he commanded.

"Right," she nodded. Neo Sailor Moon then pulled out the Moon Kaleidoscope but it was a more powerful form. "Moon Crystal Star Attack!"

"No! I'm out of order!" screamed Iko as he died.

"Grrr! You were lucky, moon brat! I'll be back!" said Lion's Eye as he disappeared. Tuxedo Mask then walked up to Neo Sailor Moon.

"Great job, Sailor Moon," said Tuxedo Mask.

"I thought you were hurt!" she said in surprise.

"I was, but then I felt a weird feeling go through my body which must have healed my injuries," he explained. The two were soon back into normal clothes.

"I guess our world needs us again since Lion's Eye is around. We'll protect it just like before," said Serena, "Darien, Luna must have known all about this. When I was hiding in a bush, she came up to me and gave me a new brooch. Should we ask her what she knows?"

"Yes. She might have some critical information we need to know. I'll drop you off at your apartment," said Darien as he led her to his car. Serena kept thinking about what she heard Lion's Eye say. He's after her, yet he doesn't know it's her.

"What will I do?" she thought.
