Dios' body is more or less out of comission during the Utena story. His spirit comes down from his tomb/upside-down castle to help Utena whenever she gets in trouble during one of her many duels. It looks really cool. He is also the one that "saved" Utena after her parents had died. He's a good guy, kinda the opposite of Akio. He used to travel around the country, helping princesses all over the world, but he got all tired out and sort of died. That's why he's up in the castle. He needs to be saved. I think he's a sweetie.
