Mysterious Play
Oh, I don't know if I should even talk about this masterpiece. It's just perfect. There is the right combination of humor and sorrow, hottie guys and silly chibis, beautiful artwork and a charming tale of good vs. evil. This is the story of Miaka, a regular junior high student trying to get into a good high school with her best friend, Yui. Both these girls get sucked into this old Chinese book. There they are almost kidnaped by slave-traders, are rescued by Tamahome, and Yui is sent back. Miaka has been chosen as the priestess of Suzaku, and she begins her search for the susaku seven to save the Konan country and get back home.
