It is usually honored with a lace doily greeting, a salutation of some sorts, a heart shaped box of confections, a romantic dinner for two and the true standard, the single long steam red rose. A bud of crimson for passion, laced with deep green foliage. Maybe a token of baby's breath in accompaniment to symbolize purity and tied with a lover's knot of dangling satin and outreached to the one of your affections. I think one of the most endearing phrases among the rest is, "Will you be my Valentine?" shyly asked in tribulation as emotions envelope your inner feelings.
It is a day for paramour's to be sure, but, also for friends and acquaintances, who give us sustenance of love and support with blithe as we journey through this veil of tears.
We need to honor Saint Valentine's Day everyday. To convey love to our soul mates; our chosen one, the friend of friends, the person or persons who care enough whoever they are that care and say I love you.
