Sallie Viverette Bailey is the youngest child of Raymond R. Viverette and Sallie Fisher. Born October 20, 1953, she grew up in Enfield, North Carolina, where she graduated from Enfield High School. Following in the sports tradition of the Viverette family, Sallie was an all-conference basketball player in high school.
Sallie makes her home in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she is a tax accountant. Sallie has one child, a daughter, Ashley born August 15, 1988.
