Luna Varga Bashing Time!

To much bashing for me! GET ME OUT OF HERE!

Bashing section done by Artemis.

Hi and welcome to the Luna Varga bashing session! This is also a review, but I disliked it so much that I decided to bash it as best I can.

Plot:
Luna Varga is about a princess who's kingdom is under attact and must protect it. In order to do so she must merge with a large creature called a Varga, and she becomes a worrior attached to the top of a mosters head. With her companion, (who happens to turn into a flying cat. go figure.) she is on the road to save here kingdom.

Rating:
This two tape sierries barley gets a 1. (1-10 scale) It was to short to be developed, there was no real end, and other then that, it just sucked!

BASHING SESSION!!!!!
Okay, first of all, why the heck does Luna have to be attached to the mosters forehead. I mean come on! That has to be uncomfterble, you wouldn't be able to move your legs!!!!! Second, how many times are they going to make Luna loose her cloths. She has aready been in the shock of having her rear end attaced to a moster, but now she must loose here dress too? Third, what happened to the end? If you don't watch the credits you miss it!!!!! I'm sorry but that is not what I call a good ending. And finaly, It was waaaaay to short. It could have been a decent show, if it were longer and the characters were developed. ugg.

Mene's opinion
Well first of all I've got to say that I probably disliked Luna Varga as much as Artimis did, but I would like to throw in a few of its redeeming qualities. First of all I actually thought it was a neat idea to put the final conclusion to the show at the end of the credits. It gives you an incentive to watch them. The reason I didn't like the ending was because I wanted her to end up with the cat guy( yes the flying cat does turn into a human)and not the prince. The problem with the plot was not only that it was too short, but that the writters did not make good use of it. There were a few scenes, possibly episodes, that did nothing to further the quest and looking back seemed a bit like they were attempting to be like Slayers and just failed miserably. As for Luna being attacted to the lizard's head, this was because she was supposed to act as his brain and her legs were attached to it, because, well, you wouldn't want the brain to fall off the body.
The animation was pretty good. They had nice faces and plausable figures. They moved fairly fluid in their movements and, besides the god awful theme song, as far as aethestics go I have nothing to complain about.
