Maho Tsykai Tai, which I have heard translated as Magic User's Club, I Want to Learn Magic, Witch Wannabes and magicians club, is a fun, cheerful little show.
It is about Sae, a member of a tiny wizard's club at school, which consists of three members and two officers. And to make things smaller one of the members, Akane, is always skipping meetings to go on dates. Lucky for her she is so good at magic that she really doesn't need anyone to instruct her. To make matters even more strained in this little club, Sae's best friend Nanaka always wants Sae to quit with her and the male vice president has a crush on the president, who while he drools at every female he meets isn't too interested in guys. As disfunctional as this group is they've taken on the task of defeating the alien invaders, who are actually quite polite and even obey the traffic signals.
This is a wonderfully six episode show that makes you want to smile after you watch it. The animation is very nice and the music is quite good. It is definately well worth seeing.
