To Love Cabbit Girl Written By Leonardo B. Castro Co-Writer: Mika Love is hard to find. Never give up and you shall be rewarded. Prologue It was a year since Ryoko has died. Ryo-oh-ki mourned Ryoko’s death everyday. She missed her humanoid sister. She remembered her mother bittersweet quote. “I will not make another Ryoko. I will not.” Were her mother’s words. She wept for how her mother kept to those words. After that dreadfully day Ryoko was buried among the honored dead where past priests lie, Washu was secretive and distance. How Ryo-oh-ki’s heart ached for her mother and departed sister. Her family was falling apart and she could stop it from toppling. She couldn’t call Tenchi family. It was only six months after Ryoko death when he proposed to Ayeka. The nerve of the man to give the ring that he was going to give Ryoko before her death to that pushy princess. She didn’t hate them. She still cared for them. But she just couldn’t stand see them together. She rooted for Ryoko and now Ayeka wins Tenchi by default. She couldn’t be their friend anymore. Her only remaining person she could call family was Sasami since Mihoshi’s promotion. The blond detective lost her reason for staying. She may have not bluntly showed it, like Ryoko or Ayeka, that she was in love with Tenchi. Ryo-oh-ki lazed about her mother’s lab. Then Washu came up to her. “It time for us to move on with our lives little one.” Washu said. Ryo- oh-ki understood what her mother meant. Washu led the unhappy cabbit to an operation table. The cabbit leapt on top of the table and accept her sad fate. It was only hour since Washu door disappeared, and Tenchi was already expecting the worst. He and his fiancée, Ayeka, paced back and forth in the living room. “Where could Miss Washu be Lord Tenchi.” Ayeka ponder this out loud. Tenchi sure wished he answer that one. Washu seemed to have been getting worse. Than one day, when he was visiting her to cheer up the gloomy mad scientist, Washu said it was her time. He prayed that she didn’t mean her time to pass to the next world. That be very sad and probably kill little Ryo-oh-ki as well. “She okay, but she will never comeback here again. She moving on with her life and this place brings bad memories.” Said a hauntingly familiar voice. “A, a, a, a, a, A GHOST.” Ayeka screamed as she saw Ryoko at the open glass slide door. “No, I am not Ryoko.” The woman said as she entered the house. Now that they got a good look at her, they could tell it wasn’t Ryoko. The woman had Ryoko’s figure and clothes, but not her face. It was more child-like, kind of like Ryo-ho-ki. She also had silvery-blue hair with pink tips. “Is that you Ryo-oh-ki?” Tenchi asked. “I guess,” Ryo-oh-ki gave a grim smirk, “you figure it huh, Tenchi.” At that moment, Sasami enter with a plate of food. It clattered to the floor as Sasami saw the cabbit woman. “Oh my god. Ryo-oh-ki is that you?” Sasami gasped. Sasami was confused. Wasn’t Ryo-oh-ki human form an adorable brown furry cat girl. “Yes it is. And I’m here to say good bye.” Ryo-oh-ki said. Her heart was twisting. But she had to start anew. Way from this house with all it memories. “But, where will you go? Please stay Ryo-oh-ki.” Sasami pled. She didn’t want her friend to go. “Yes Ryo-oh-ki…I mean Miss Ryo-oh-ki. You must stay.” Ayeka back up her little sister. “Sorry, you have no choice in the matter. I’ll check up from time to time. Now farewell.” And with that, she disappeared. Hours later, Ryo-oh-ki was on her way to start her new life in a town called Nerima.
