OK I don't own them, I have never been that lucky. Besides, I'm not legal yet so I can't own people. Warnings: ohhhhh the horror of it all. You will see what I mean The Baby Wing Boys by Kalove Part Five: Wild Things The peaceful quiet was broken by the blood-curdling scream from the lungs of a five-year old Duo. Treize and Zechs opened their eyes to see that the morning had began. If their morning started this bad, it could only get worse as the day wore on. Treize dragged himself out of bed to see what the trouble was. He was not prepared for the sight that greeted him in the hall. Duo streaked by naked as the day he was born, as well as soaking wet. Seeing the open doorway, Duo made a sharp turn, ran into the bedroom, and leapt straight into the spot Treize had lain only a moment before. Looking at the masses of dripping hair it was clear he was not going to be able to lay in bed any longer today. Turning back to the doorway, Treize was treated to the sight of a very frayed-looking Lady Une. Her hair was standing up in places from where it had come loose from its bindings. She also had streaks of dirt on her cheeks. "My Lady! Whatever has happened to you?" asked Treize trying to hide his shock. "Sir, I was only trying to give him his bath so he would look at least a little civilized when Mariemeia arrives, but as you can see he had other idea's." Une looked hard it the shivering boy clutching the sheets to himself. "Ah, I see. Well do not worry Lady, Zechs and I shall see to this one. Please do not let it bother you in the least." Treize replied in a gentle voice. As soon as the Lady was gone Zechs burst into a fit of laughter. Treize rolled his eyes and gave Zechs a soft slap on his bottom and picked up the small child. "Zechs you act as bad as this one at times." With that said Treize disappeared into the bathroom to finish Duo's bath. ------------ By the time Treize's daughter arrived, the house was in top shape and the five young boys were dressed as gentlemen. Treize greeted his young daughter with a kiss on the cheek and a hug. "I am glad you could join us Mara. I hope that your stay here will be pleasant. The Lady has seen to your room personally." Treize smiled at Une and his daughter. "My thanks to you, Lady. But if I may ask, who are they?" Mara asked with some puzzlement. Une pushed the sulking boys forward in turn. "Mara, please meet Duo Maxwell, Heero Yuy, Chang Wufei, Trowa Barton, and Quatre Winner." As their names were called, all the boys greeted young Mara in their own way. Duo with a cheeky grin, Heero with a smirk, Wufei with a superior look, Trowa with a gentle nod, and Quatre with his warm smile and a small bow. "I am pleased to meet you all." replied the small girl. "Well, I am sure you would like to freshen up before lunch, so I will show you to your rooms" Une took hold of Mara's hand and lead her to her rooms. "Treize, can we change now??!! Please?" asked Duo while scratching his leg. "this stuff itches!" "Yes, you may go change now." Before the words were out of his mouth he was forced to jump out of the way of five hellions. "Yes, a very bad start." ----------- As Mara walked through the garden, she had the feeling of being followed. 'Father has most likely sent someone to watch over me.' With a sigh she turned to tell whoever it was that she wanted to be alone only to find herself seemingly alone. 'Well, that's odd.' Turning back to her walk, she let herself think on the young men she had met this morning. The one with the braid, Duo, he was cute. Well, they were all cute but that boy Wufei had looked at her as if she were nothing! Who does he think he is! If he continued to act as such she would have to speak with her father about him. As for Heero and Trowa they were also cute but a little distant and it seemed that Quatre had already laid claim on Trowa. Well, that's all right I just want to get to know Duo better. A small shiver went up Mara's spine as she again felt someone watching her. "Who's there?" asked Mara in a small voice. Feeling better when no one answered she turned back to her walk. And was leaped upon by a screaming bundle of hair. Mara hit the ground screaming only to have her attacker run off into the bushes. Jumping up from the ground she did the only thing a frightened out of her mind ten year old girl could do. "DADDY~~~~~~~Y" ------------ Treize looked up at the sound of his daughter's scream. Jumping to his feet he rushed towards the sobbing girl as she broke through the trail leading out of the woods. "Mara, what's wrong?!" asked Treize as he picked up the little girl and held her close. "Oh Daddy, something tried to get me it jumped on me in the woods and it was hairy and...." "Now, now, Mara, it's all right, it didn't get you, I have you. Now Mara, what did this thing do exactly?" "It jumped on me screaming and it had so much hair!!" Treize and Zechs exchanged looks and as one turned to the woods. "DUO!!" ----------- During dinner that night, Duo was sulking. As punishment for what he had done to Mara, he would not be eating dessert and had to sit and watch everyone else eat it. No one saw Mara slip a piece of her cake under the table. Later that evening Heero stopped Duo in the hall to give him a small piece of cake that he had saved for him. Duo gave Heero a hug and scarfed down the small piece of cake before skipping down the hall. Soon he found himself face to face with Mara. "I'm sorry if I scared you today Mara. I was only playing the game." Duo looked down so Mara wouldn't see the chocolate around his mouth. "It's ok Duo but next time please warn me beforehand." after saying all this she handed him the piece of cake and kissed his cheek before walking on. Walking past Heero she failed to notice his glare. The door to Treize and Zechs' room opened down the hall and Zechs wiggled his finger for Duo to come to him. Stepping inside the room Duo was once again handed another piece of cake. "Now Duo I couldn't stand to see you pouting but don't tell Treize I gave you this he would kill me!" Zechs said before kissing Duo goodnight. Smiling Duo walked down the hall only to be stopped again by Quatre and Trowa with another piece of Cake!!!!!!! Tonight was Duo's lucky night. By bed time Duo was bouncing off the walls Heero only grabbed his braid and pulled him to the bed before snuggling close. ----------- The next morning Mara was running for her life giggling all the way being chased by a screaming Wufei. He was very mad and all she had done was peeked at him during his bath. "Onna have you no shame come back here!!!!!" A rustling in the bushes alerted her again to Duo's pending attack. Soon she found herself being chased by all five boys. Treize smiled as he watched the children play. "Zechs did you notice the large amount of cake missing last night?" "No....no I didn't. Why do you ask?" Zechs asked trying to look innocent. "No reason at all, love, no reason." Part six will bring more Mara and *gasp* does she like Duo???!!!
