Genma SaotomeClick here for pictures LOOKS : He’s bald and over weight. He wears a handkerchief on his head in order to hide it. He’s not a casanova, that’s for sure. As a panda, Genma’s got that ‘I’m just an innocent panda’ look. He’s really cute in a demented sort of way. PERSONALITY : A bit selfish. He’s rather intelligent sometimes. He can come up with the stupidest plans and make them work out better than something practical. He can be very forceful at times but usually lacks the power behind the threat. He’s really pathetic when it comes to his master Happosai or his wife Nodoka. CURSED : Yes. He turns into a fat panda. INTELLIGENCE : He’s probably very smart in his own twisted way. He can be rather stupid sometimes, but he has his ups and downs. It’s a wonder Ranma isn’t a total moron actually. But, he can be very smart at times. FIGHTING SKILLS : He did make up his own techniques. The Saotome Forbidden Techniques, the Umi Sen Ken and Yama Sen Ken. They’re actually really powerful, surprisingly. He has to be a lot better than he looks to do that. Then again, he does beat Ranma in their morning sparring matches doesn’t he? He also fight alongside Soun a lot. > WEAKNESSES : He’ll abandom anyone if it means he’ll save his own skin. He’s not very loyal so if someone offered to give him something in return for turning his back, he’d probably do it. SPECIAL SKILLS : As a panda, he can pull out signs with writing on them from nowhere and throw them with amazing accuracy. He can also act as a real panda with amazing ability. Is so stupid yet has managed to stay alive for such a long time. FAMILY : His wife Nodoka and son Ranma. RIVALS : If anyone, it would have been Soun when they were both training under Happosai many years ago. LOVE INTERESTS : Well, his wife Nodoka’s still alive. It must be her. But, with his promise to turn Ranma into a man among men broken (Ranma turns into a girl, not very manly), he’s constantly afraid that she’ll make them commit seppuku (a form of traditional and honorful suicide). HISTORY : He trained under Happosai when he was young and he got married to Nodoka and had Ranma. When Ranma was arounf 6 years old, he took him all over the world to train him in martial arts and make him a man among men. |
