As a person, Duo can only be described as fun-loving, and not very serious. To him piloting and fighting against OZ where he first met Hilde there she risked her life in order to help him fulfill his mission. He always takes time to look up at the stars and consider what life is really about and he was to object when she mentioned that she’d like to fight again . This makes him quite different, personality wise, then the other Gundam Pilots. Heero focuses on finishing the mission, while Trowa seems to bear the same princples. Quatre focuses on peace, and the peace that he is so sure to come. Then last we have Wufei fighting for the honour of his colony. Unlike the previous four, he seems to fight because, one, it's fun to do, and two, there doesn't seem to be anything better for him to do.

Making sport of destroying everything, he is able to complete missions quickly and with great agility that’s why I gather we see Hilde and Duo together a lot(awww). The only downside to Duo's fighting, is that it almost seems as if he doesn't know quite when to stop. Taking total annihilation to an extreme, he tends to not only kill the enemy, but just about everything around the enemy(if you’ve seen Deathscythe meets Zero then you know what that means). His lust for combat is still overshadowed by his need to help his colony againts the evil OZ. Other than it seems to me they even live together for a period of time til some guys found out there was a Gundam on the colony so Duo had to leave.Hilde knew he had to go and she wished she could go with him but she knew it was dangerous if he stayed or if she went with him.So in the episode she ran outside and sadly watched as he left in the Deathscythe.

Well, it's obvious that he's incredible at piloting mobile suits. He's also a very good hand-to-hand fighter. He's good with acrobatics and with weapens of all sorts.
Background:
*spoiler warning* Duo was an orphan after his parents were killed in the war. He was sort of a wild child, running around with his friends and stealing food. He was taken in by the Maxwell Church where he was cared for the the Priest and a nun. The nun fixed his hair into a braid, and he liked it so much that he's worn his hair that way ever since. The church was attacked and while Duo was away, the priest and the nun were killed. Duo was hurt very much by this and that is why he accepted the offer of a Gundam and was happy to take part in rebelling against Oz or whoever else threatened the colonies.

Like Duo, Hilde is very cheerful. She's very sweet and open-minded. Heck, she even changed her entire life and beliefs because of what Duo told her, so you know she's willing to listen to others and change herself for the better. She's very dedicated to those she cares for and would die for her beliefs without a second thought.Skills:
Mediocre mobile suit pilot. We saw that she could go up against Duo fairly well when they were using the same kind of mobile suit, and he even had a weapon! As for hand-to-hand combat, I'd say she's had plenty of training in that field when training to be a soldier. We also saw her weilding a gun very well, so she can handle her weapons!
Background:
Not much is known about Hilde's past. We know that she was an Oz soldier, but that's pretty much it. If anyone has any of the info I'm missing (like Weight, Etnicity, or Background) please e-mail me!
