I'll never understand why the above picture isn't more popular. It perfectly embodies the seishii's relationships with one another. And of course, that is what this page is about...the way the characters interact, specifically with Nuriko. So...to begin!!!!!!
...then in tape 8, you like never see them apart. They're always scheming together, being evil and conniving and everything, and even though they still tease each other, it's even more obvious than before that they're joking. Then in tape 10, Tasuki's easily the one hit hardest by Nuriko's death...just watch it and you'll see what I mean. And I really do think...never mind. Just look at the response for the Jellybean awards and you'll know what I think about these two.
My my, don't things start off strangely with these two? ^_^. I'm sure there are bad points aboout being kissed by a beautiful court lady for no apparent reason (although I can't think of any right now....) but I can see how Tamahome wouldn't like being smothered like he is by Nuriko at the series' start. Nor would I like finding out I was just a tool to get back at Miaka...but the crowning disaster would come when Tamahome finds out hte lovely young woman who was fawning all over him is really a man. Never mind that he's a cute one, I'm sure in Tamahome's position I'd be flustered, too. At least he gets over it, and the two do become friends. They get along pretty well, even if Nuriko gets a little heavy-handed trying to match Tamahome and Miaka up, and even if Tamahome's gay boy cracks get a little annoying.
Oh well. Nuriko provides support, advice, and probably helps Tamahome grow in experiences when he'd normally collapse.
