Somehow the two supposed enemies began to grow close. Kikyo wanted Inuyasha to use the Shikon no Tama to become a normal human. Sadly, one day, an evil demon named Naraku tricked Inu-Yasha and Kikyo into hating each other. Kikyo shot Inu-Yasha, pinning him to a tree with an arrow, then she died herself, taking the Shikon jewel with her to the next world...
