Track 01. Warning (0:11)
This is the music that plays right before the OP sequence. It's quick, eyecatching, and happy!
Track 02. Tenshi no Yubikiri - Full Size (4:26) Lyrics
This is the full version of the OP theme. Heavy emphasis on the drums, bass, and distorted guitars, with hints of piano with a lot of reverb. One of the best parts is the key change near the end. One of my all-time favorites!
Track 03. Playback (2:36)
This is the music that plays during the synopsis of the story so far before episodes. It's very march-like, and has a quick beginning. Lots of woodwinds, countered by some brass. Marching snare and big echoing bass drum!
Track 04. Miyazawa Yukino 1 (3:21)
Very classical-like, with lots of piano, violins, and timpani, with a few cymbal crashes and some brass. Definitely brings out the fake side of Yukino.
Track 05. Miyazawa Yukino 2 (3:03)
Very intense at the beginning, with an overdose of cymbals which then slows into a very Italian-like swing-type thing, with violin, trumpets, and brass. Kinda makes ya hungry for pizza ~.^
Track 06. Peace 1 (2:49)
Medium tempo and calm with a lotta violin, and some castinets. Harp trades lead with a deep violin. Castinet solo that sounds almost like tap dancing. This definitely gives the impression of peace.
Track 07. Peace 2 (2:28)
Flute and oboe have the lead, with temple blocks in the background and taking some solos. Reggae-like guitar plays at random times in the background. This is more happy than peaceful but it's still fun to listen to.
Track 08. Friendly Rivalry (2:34)
Focuses on the same type of guitar as in the last song and some random percussion instruments with an almost latin sound. Hawaiian-type guitars in the background. Brass takes the lead about halfway through.
Track 09. Peace 3 (3:15)
Trumpet lead throughout. In the background, vibraphone and piano can be heard as well as a percussion instrument with almost a grating sound. Trumpet takes a pretty long solo, but a good one. Drum set adds to the percussion a little ways in.
Track 10. Meeting Only to Part (3:20)
This is all piano for most of the song. Starts out high, goes an octave lower, lots of echo. Violins interject at points. Towards the end, a low-pitched trumpet takes a solo. Conveys almost a romantic mood.
Track 11. Arima Souichirou 1 (4:02)
Slow start with piano. Violins then come in. The violin part sounds similar to something from Les Miserables. Wind chimes at random times plus a slow drum beat make up the percussion. A nice and slow song that gives you a feel of Souichirou's romantic side.
Track 12. Arima Souichirou 2 (4:58)
The one song that lets you feel the trajedy of Souichirou's past. The first minute or so is all piano. Violins then join the melody. This is a very slow and sad-sounding song that describes Souichirou's past despair perfectly.
Track 13. Yume no Naka He 1 (2:15)
The first of a few instrumental renditions of this song, piano and acoustic guitar are used for this song. Pretty much loyal to the actual song.
Track 14. The Miyazawas (3:01)
The theme of the Miyazawa family. With vocals of "ba ba ya ba" and alterations on that, it's a very happy song that displays the craziness of the Miyazawa family. Saxophone solo midway through.
Track 15. Cart Before the Horse 1 (2:10)
This is sort of a faster spinoff of the Miyazawa theme. Bongos and rim shots add to the percussion, jazz piano and vibraphone are in the background. Muted trumpet takes a solo, then the vibraphone.
Track 16. Miyazawa Yukino 3 (4:05)
This sounds like something from a James Bond soundtrack. Violins and brass have the melody, bongos and drum set play lightly in the background. Very fast paced and full of action.
Track 17. Coexistence (1:08)
This can best be described as the Asaba Hideaki theme. Slow deep striptease-like saxophone and piano. Although a short song, it definitely yells, "Asaba!"
Track 18. Miyazawa Yukino 4 (3:08)
A slow piece that starts out with a deep violin. A little later, other violins come in and take the melody. It speeds up slightly as the song progresses. A faint acoustic guitar can be heard in the background. A flute takes the melody for a little while, then the violins return and the song slows again, ending with the same deep violin as in the beginning. This song conveys Yukino's romantic side.
Track 19. Miyazawa Yukino 5 (3:08)
This song is all piano. Starting out on the middle notes, then the melody comes in on the higher notes. This song best covneys Yukino in deep thought or in a crisis.
Track 20. Divided Uniforms (3:43)
Fast-paced and used to describe crazy times. Shakers, hawaiian guitars, vibraphone, saxophones, a light drum set and latin percussion. Vibraphone solo midway through, followed by a saxophone solo. The vocal "ba ba ya" is back again. A real fun song!
Track 21. Yume no Naka He 2 (3:55)
In this rendition of the ending theme, piano, triangle, and windchimes are the background. A muted harp takes the melody in the beginning. A violin group takes the melody a little ways in. This version is slightly more romantic than the first rendition.
Track 22. Treasure Every Meeting 1 (1:58)
A medium tempo piece on the low end of the piano. The melody is played towards the middle. This song is usually used to display confusion in the characters' hearts or a romantic mood.
Track 23. Yume no Naka He - Full Size (2:37) Lyrics
This is the full version of the ED theme, sung by the seiyuu for Yukino and Arima. It focuses on drums and acoustic guitar. Electric guitar gets little riffs during the chorus.
Track 24. Preview (0:23)
This is the quick little music played while the seiyuu for Tsukino and Kano describe the next episode. Focuses on brass mainly.
