Before I Begin, The Background Music Is From Evangelion, Not Monster Rancher. Another "Guy uses monsters to fight monsters" show, but this one is really bad. This show is predictable, because they tell you from the first episode that they're going to find the "mystical, magical, Phoenix", so they can revive all the dead monsters to take on a giant evil guy named (get this) Moo. It's ho-hum syoryline and the mediocre animation makes this a must-not-see. All the enemies in the show are called "baddies", which kind of brings in the fact that this show was made for really little kids. I've only seen a few episodes, but think about it: The hero and his band of misfit monsters have been circling around for a long time looking for this Phoenix. Maybe I'm on to something. Maybe I know something you don't. Then again, maybe not.
