Before I Begin, Let It Be Known That The Background Music Is From Slayers NEXT, Not Slayers. The Slayers Is Just Simply The Best Fantasy Anime To Ever Come Out On The Market Thus Far. I Personaly Own EVERY Slayers Tape There Is To Own (The Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try, Slayers Perfect, Slayers Return, Slayers Gorgeous, Slayers Special, And Slayers Excelent). Some Of These Aren't Out In America Yet, So Don't Go On A Mad Hunt Around The Country For Those... Also, Some Of Them Released In America Go Under Different Names (Slayers Perfect=Slayers:The Motion Picture, Slayers Special=Dragon Slave And Explosion Array, Etc.) DARN IT! I'm Going Off Track Again! (Then Again, For This Review, I Was Never Even On Track To Begin With) So, The First Season Of Slayers Is About Lina Inverse (A Sorceress) Going Along With Her Companions And Fighting Bad Guys. Well, Actually, That Was Really Streching It Because It Is Actually A Little Bit Deeper Than That. But I Am Just To Lazy To Type Out All That It Is About. But What Are The Pros? First Of All, It Is Funny! This Show Is Full Of Comedy, Even During The Serious Moments, They Make Sure Not To Drag Out The Seriousness For Too Long. Sometimes In Mid-Battle They Will Throw In Some Kind Of A Joke For No Apparent Reason At All. The Storyline, For Another Thing, Is Well Done (Unlike Dirty Pair Flash Mission 1 And 2, Which Can Be Painful At Times, But That Has Nothing To Do With This Review). On Top Of All Of That, The Magic In Slayers Is Extremely Powerful! After You Watch All The Way Through All Of The Series, The Slayers Look Pretty Unstoppable. And Yet Another Pro That I Must Include Is The Number Of Episodes Per Tape! 3-4 Episodes Per Tape Gives You A Lot Of Anime For Your Money. Now Finally I'm To The Cons, The Only Complaint That I Have Is That The First Series Has The Worst Art Of All Of The Other Slayers Series, But It Is Still Not Bad By Any Means. There I'm Done!
