Houshin Engi

So What's a Who?

Houshin Engi is an awesome manga series that follows the travels of a young Doushi (someone training to be a Sennin, or "god-like being") named Taikoubou. It begins in a world where an evil Senning called Dakki has taken over a very influential kingdom and is ruling it to complete shambles. I mean, come on - she ordered some 10,000 ppl to be buried alive with an emperor that passed away, as opposed to some 10. Taikoubou's job? To go around and send her minions (as well as, eventually, Dakki herself) to a jail-like island called the Houshin Dai. Why? Because if his master did it, the manga would be over.
