Piccolo is evil. He was born through The Demon King (who also was named piccolo)when he spit him up as an egg. Piccolo starts as Gokus enemy, but eventually becomes his ally. Piccolo loves Gohan and trains him to become a vey powerful warrior. He learns to care for someone through Gohan and eventually becomes a good guy.He proved that he cared for gohan by sacrificing his life for gohan in the fight versus Nappa. Eventually he was wished back by Porunga and merged with another semi-powerful namek named Nail. This made Piccolo strong so he took on freeza and was beating him but well you know what happens. He then almost died again by saving goku when Freeza came back the first time after being hit with the genki dama. Years later he finnally becomes whole again by fusing with the great Kami and was then considered a super namekian.Once he was fused with Kami, Piccolo thought that he was strong enough to take on the androids and the first form of cell which he was.For that short time he was one of the strongest people in the universe up until Goku started training again and Gohan went Super Saiyan 2.He stays alive until towards the end of Dragonball GT when he decides to die with planet earth as it was being destroyed but he comes back on the very end of the last episode.
