I am pride. The very essence of most people, yet there are a few I cannot approach. My purpose is to bring a fortitude to people in a harmony which only I can achieve. Although, those whom I cannot touch nor bring self-worth to, are the few who stand alone with the ambition to do little. I bring respect to those I greet and strength to those whom believe in me. However, there are those who take too much of what I am and, conceited as they are, turn it into a corrupted ego. Ego is my friend, a cousin you could say. Something stemming from myself and yet because of others, it is born. Through people I am created, and through them I am changed. For I alone, am pride.
