(a.k.a. “Kakushi Miko” – “The Hidden Shrine Maiden”)
The first of the Dragons of Heaven gathered by Hinoto, this stoic 16-year-old-school girl wields her supernatural sword with fearsome elegance. While Arashi was still very young, her mother abandoned her priestly duties in order to follow her beloved to Tokyo. Upon her mother’s death, Arashi was left to a harsh life on the streets. Though she was rescued and returned to the shrine, Arashi still bears the psychic scars of her arduous youth. Her one solace through all that has followed has been her grandmother Kaede’s promise that she will meet her one true love.
