Takeshi

Takeshi's true form is that of a dream eater. In his previous life he saved Nekomata from a cruel man and took him and his younger sister Fuyuko in. They lived happily as a family for over a hundred years and Takeshi made them promise that if he was ever forced to be reincarnated, that they would find him. The reborn Takeshi is 16 and lives with his mother and father and is popular with girls because of one poster he modeled for. He has strange psychic abilities and blames himself for his mother's unstable mind.

Nekomata

Nekomata is a cat monster who was sold to a man to pay off a debt when he was 10. The man made him fight animals but Takeshi bought him from the man and took him in along with his sister. Nekomata cares a lot for Takeshi and always wants to stay by his side.

Fuyuko

Fuyuko is Nekomata's younger sister and a snow woman. She loves Takeshi and her brother and spends 16 years looking for the reincarnated form of Takeshi.

Reiko

Reiko is Takeshi's human mother. Baku Takeshi borrowed her womb in order to be reborn so he wouldn't die after engaging in a battle. When Reiko finds that her little Takeshi has strange powers, she goes crazy and claims Takeshi isn't her son and isn't even human. She seems to suffer from some sort of severe depression because of Takeshi.

Ashura

Ashura was a man who wanted to kill baku Takeshi and eat his flesh in order to gain his power. Even when reincarnated Takeshi begins to awaken as baku Takeshi, some of Ashura's men come to take Takeshi to Ashura.
