Let me just start saying that this series is created for the perverted little kid inside all of us.
The series drawings may not be the best in the World, but they fit perfectly with the episodes. For example, one of the things that will make you laugh is the way that Kintaro's face changes from a well drawn face to a kind of stupid retarded funny face. Also, the drawings do flow very smoothly and are not recycled like other series.
In my opinion, this is a very funny series. You can expect a lot of perverted jokes. You will definitely laugh with or to Kintaro for his stupidities as he goes on his quest to study life. Yes, some people will find it sick and perverted,, but the series are supposed to be that way. If you are looking for a good comedy, I suggest this one. The only bad thing is that it is very short and once you see it's ending you will be craving for more.
I will give it an 8 because I think it's too short.

like sexy women in almost no cloth? You like bicycles? YES?!?!?!?! Then go out
to your nearest video store or go online an buy Golden Boy!!!
Ok,
now, for real, this is a good comedy that I would recommend for those who aren't
easily offended. It'ss not that perverted, I have seen worst, it just present strong
sexual themes (and some nipples here and there).
But be open minded and you will find that golden boy is hilariously
comic.
It
is a short series and the episodes don't relate to each other (except for the
last one), but anyway is always good to watch them in order.
The
drawings are not that great. Don't get me wrong, they are good drawings, but I
have seen better. One thing that I have to give credit to is the funny way in which
Kintaro Oe (main character) changes faces, his face goes from a good, serious,
detailed drawing to a really funny and stupid cartoon like face.
I
will give golden boy a 6.5. And again, don't get me wrong, it is a good comedy.
But I prefer too see more of a storyline in the animes I see, I like action and
other things, I'm not too crazy about comedies. But if you are looking for a good
comedy and just want to laugh your pants off for a while, then Golden boy is for
you.
