This
has become one of my favorite series. For
all of you that like medieval times, are obsessed with Knights, love dragons,
have read Dragon Lance (a really good novel), like magic and sorcery, or just appreciate
a good animation, this is a must see. It is short, I have to admit it, and
that's
a minor for the series, and the main character is not close to be a talented
knight. But the great drawings, storyline, and the way the other characters are
presented in the story, more than compensate for it.
There's
a good number of characters. From humans to dark elf and everything in between.
For the main character I have to say that it has a pathetic armor, doesn't know
how to fight and is always dropping his sword in battle. But don't be discouraged
by that, there are more knights to choose from, including a great representation
of dark knights.
The
fights are good. Although the sequences of the fights aren't that great, they
have great drawings, really good details, and the most important things, impressive
swords and lot's of blood.
Last
but not least, DRAGONS! I know I'm obsessed with them, and if you like them as
much as I do, this is a MUST SEE. They aren't an important part of the storyline
until the end. But they look so cool in this series.
So
if you would like to be transported to a land of Knights, Dragons and Mystics, I
recommend Record of Loddos War. I give it a 8.5 because it is a little short and
I wanted to see the main character change the pathetic armor hi uses through all
the story. (Don't worry about the armor, that's the only pathetic one, BELIEVE
ME!)
