I don't remember a lot of the series because when I saw it the last time was a lot time ago. But, I do remember that it was a great series and I liked it a lot (basically what I don't remember are the details of story). I think that if there was a series that hooked me into anime, definitively it was this one.
About the drawings, they are great. They are so detailed and so well drawn that they still leave me mouth opened. A major drawback from the series is the animation, and it is just because the transformations are the same each time they transform. One of the things I remember the most from the series, is an explosion that was so well drawn that still surprises me each time I think of it.
The story was a very good one, it included lots of characters (which were very well designed), lots of action and in every episode there was something worth viewing, not like other series in which only a few episodes are worth viewing. The story was pretty simple at the beginning and I was hooked to it, but as it started to get complicated I got even more hooked.
Since I saw the series a long time ago, and I'm making this review according to what I could remember, I'm giving it a 9. Because it has a great story, great characters, great drawings, but the small drawback of the repeated animation keeps me from giving it a perfect 10. Anyway, I should watch it again and see what rating I would give it right now.
