Why Sailor Moon is Evil
Note: Please don't take me seriously, this is just for fun. I am not a bible scholar. Though I don't mind if you feel inclined to think so... Also, I am NOT making fun of any religions, just of Sailor Moon. Know that.
Sailor Moon is evil! Very very evil! Here is the proof of her utter evilness! Everyone should stay away from it! Resist temptation!
Believe it or not, I don't know if the name's "Rene" or "Rini" and I'm really too lazy to find out...
Evil-points are given as follows; TWO points if she is definitely shown by the quote to be evil, and ONE point if it's debatable. (points are added up in conclusion, bottom of page)
Buddism Says; |
He who, seeking his own happiness, punishes or kills beings who also long for happiness, will not find happiness after death.
Sailor Moon kills the bad guys. In fact, she also "punishes" them. ("in the name of the moon, I shall punish you!") She does this to seek her own happiness (because she would NOT be happy if they took over). These beings also seek happiness (in the domination of the world or whatnot). Therefore, in 'punishing' them, Serena is evil.
This gives Sailor Moon (the show) 2 evil-points.

He who lives looking for pleasure only, his senses uncontrolled, immoderate in his food, idle, and weak, Mara will certainly overthrow him, as the wind throws down a weak tree.
Mara = Death, the killer, the personification of evil, etc.
Serena doesn't really want to fight, she'd rather live just for pleasure. She is rather idle, and weak (when not transformed into Sailor Moon), and definitely immoderate in her food.
This gives Sailor Moon (the show) 1 evil-point.

Christianity Says;
|
...thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all they mind, and with all thy strength.
Serena definitely loves the Moon Kingdom, etc. much more than she loves God.

And call no man your father upon the earth; for one is your father, which is in heaven.
Serena calls her dad "dad." In the manga, at least. (I dunno if I've ever seen her father in the anime...)

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement.
Whosoever shall say to his brother [...] Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Serena bickers with her brother. Over little things (ie "without a cause") and I'm sure she's called him many names equivalent to "fool."

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Since they always use the male form of words in the Bible, we must assume that comments in which they mention a gender are also vice-versa. Therefore, if a woman looks on a man who is married, she has commited aldultery in her heart/caused him to commit adultery. Rene is in love with Darien even though she knows he's married to Serena. Therefore Rene has commited adultery, and is evil.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you [...]
Therefore Serena should love Queen Beryl & Co, along with all the other vilains. She obviously doesn't.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine [...]
The main part here is "neither cast ye your pearls before swine." Serena and Darien give eachother gifts (pearls, etc.), and both of them are swine.
This gives the show Sailor Moon 1 evil-point.

Thou shalt not kill.
This is the big one. It is mentioned in the Bible over and over and over. Serena, and ALL of them, kill LOTS of their enemies.
This gives the show Sailor Moon 2 evil-points.

Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. ANd again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needly, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Serena is the Moon Princess. Darien is the Prince. The other scouts are princesses of the various planets. Rene is also a princess. Therefore pretty much all the main characters are rich, and that means they're evil.

Hinduism Says; |
Hypocrisy, arrogance and conceit, wrath and also harshness and unwisdom are his who is born with demoniacal properties.
Serena posseses wrath, harshness and unwisdom. On a side note, she posseses one of a list of about fifteen or so "divine" properties.
This gives Sailor Moon (the show) 1 evil-point.

Never stay in a lonely place with your own daughers, sisters or stepmothers. The fiend of lust takes advantage of solitude and pleads evil counsel to the heart to which the learned have been known to yeild.
Lots of Sailor Moon characters do this. (remember, gender is interchangeable...) Also, Rene purposely stays alone with Darien, even though she knows he's really her father, because she's in love with him. That's a big big no-no! Rene is evil.

Taoism Says; |
The Perfect Man of Tao
He is cautious, like one who croses a stream in winter;
He is hesitating, like one who fears his neighbours;
He is modest, like one who is a guest;
He is yielding, like ice that is going to melt;
He is simple, like wook that is not yet wrought;
He is vacant, like valleys that are hollow;
He is dim, like water that is turbid.
[...]
I cannot think of any Sailor Moon characters who posses any characteristics of the Perfect Man of Tao. So they're been rejected by this religion, too!
This gives Sailor Moon (the show) 2 evil-points.
|
Appear in plainness and hold to simplicity;
Restrain selfishness and curtail desires.
Yeah... That's Serena & Co. all right...
This gives Sailor Moon (the show) 2 evil-points.

There are a zillion more of those around, but I don't feel like finding them.
So, IN CONCLUSION, Sailor Moon, especially Serena, is evil. She has gained 24 evil points in all from these quotes. Of course, than means nothing since it's not in comparison to anything (just yet), and it's not a percentage or anything, but it sums up this page rather nicely.
