: Welcome to Tranquility Island :
Now, picture yourself sitting down on something soft, warm, and friendly. You are alone, with nothing to disturb you. No one is watching. Around you, you can hear rain falling.
: pit : pat : pit : pat :
Listen to the rhythmic tapping of the rain. Close your eyes, and feel the rain falling all around you. It's so calming, so gentle...
: pit : pat : pit : pat :
Now, think. What makes you angry? Why do you feel as if you must lash out at those around you? What is your trouble?
Now, give this trouble a form. Imagine it as something small, powerless. Think of it as a piece of paper.
Now, take this paper. Crinkle it into a little ball. Squish it hard, feel the fibres cracking beneath your hands.
: crackle : crackle : crackle :
Now, hold up your arm, and throw the crumpled paper. Fling it, as far away as you can.
See your troubles flying away from you. Wave to them. "Bye bye troubles. Bye bye! I will never see you again!"
Now, with the source of your anger gone, take a deep breath. Feel the cool air in your nostrils. Say to yourself "I am not angry. I do not need to swear. I do not need to send flames. I am happy and content."
You are now calm, collected. Your anger is gone. You're perfectly happy.
Chose One:
{ : yes, I am calm! : } { : I still feel angry : }
