Bear, my 11 yr old, had to be enthanized June 4, 2001. He was suffering from congestive heart failure, was collapsing repeatedly, and could not do the things he loved so much to do; ie: chase a tennis ball, frisbee, or stick, and run and
go for walks. I am still grieving.....but I know I made a decision that was
right for him. He was one very special dog, and he had a SOUL; I know this, because I could see it so easily in his big, beautiful brown eyes. He asked me, in no uncertain terms, on Sunday, June 3, to "please let me go, Mom."
He is missed.
