Nagi is the youngest and probably the most innocent member of Schwarz. He also seems to be the only one who acts upon his feelings. Nagi has a sad past and his reason for being in Schwarz is to get back at the society that treated him so cruely. Although he is just as cold as the other Schwarz characters, Nagi falls in love with Toto (Tot), a member of Shrydent (or one of the various other ways of spelling it...).

In the episode where Weiss attemt to retrieve Aya/Ran's kidnapped sister from Shurydent, Yoji sees Tot and Nagi talking in the woods outside Shydent's hideout. Nagi is telling Tot to leave Shrydent because he doesn't want her to die. When Nagi first tries to kiss Tot, he bumps ito her nose (Awww!), but does better the second time (Awwww again!). Tot tells Nagi she wants them to live together after everything's over. When Tot runs off and Nagi follows, he is stoppd by Crawford who slaps him and tells him to forget his feelings of love and focus on his hate. Nagi still protects Tot from being killed by Weiss back in Shrydent's hideout, but Farfello throws a knife threw Tot's chest and kills her. Nagi strats screaming while holding Tot in his arms and his power/angst completely destroys the building.
