Cobra Triangle Review
Anothe isometric 8-bit game from Rare and what
a game it is!!! This game is kinda like a cross between a shoot-em up game
and a racing game.
Cobra Triangle is one of those deceptive games
with simple graphics, sound and gameplay that proves to be very playable
underneath. In this game you control a boat that you can tool up a bit
as you progress through the levels, upgrading such things as speed, turbo
and firepower.
The gameplay in this game is fairly straightfoward
and also includes a few differant types of levels to spice things up a
tad. Most levels are lotsa fun but a couple of stages such as the waterfall
stage are highly frustrating and can result in your n.e.s. pad flying through
the window and hitting the next door neighbours cat!!! Most levels require
a bit of trail and error as there is a knack to most things and the difficulty,
like most n.e.s. games is quite high.
Conclusion:-It dosn't quite
reach the hights of other Rare games but Cobra Triangle does prove to be
an awesome game in it's own right!
