Goldeneye

The game 'Perfect Dark' was the most highly anticpated game for the N64, call it the Phantom Menace of the Nintendo world. But, like The Phantom Menace, it dissapointed lots of people. Myself included.The game 'Perfect Dark' was the most highly anticpated game for the N64, call it the Phantom Menace of the Nintendo world.
But, like The Phantom Menace, it dissapointed lots of people.  Myself included.Things such as framrates, things promised but not included (for good reason, but still) and the whole game itself. the menus, while they looked nice, they could have just been simple like the Goldeneye's menu, instead of the confusing mess it was.
What are you thoughts?

Weeeeell, I think Perfect Dark is a very awesome game! Granted it isn't as reveloutionary as Goldeneye was and the game may have aged a bit since Geye, but I think the game is a lot of fun to play and definatly has some of the best multi-play around. The multiplayer option is better than Goldeneye's full stop! The framerates are a bit low but never interfere with the gameplay. You are toatally right about the menu's. As it stands I would have to say that Pdark is one of the best games made (In my opinion), but it isn't an outlook changing game like Goldeneye was.

 I was looking forward to this game so much that I couldn't sleep the night before I got it. However, I was bitterly disappointed it to the point that I wanted to destoroy the cartridge. GoldenEye was a game I had wanted so badly but was never allowed until about August last year (99 for the dopes out there and it's changing soon) and I loved it greatly when I had it. PD can never change me the way that GE did and in my opinion, although PD was never going to be more revolutionary, GE was by far the better game.
