ZELDA 4 DX & MONO REVIEW

Ummmmm,now where can I start?By stating that this game has the best CBG graphics yet and just about the best GB mono graphics?By saying that this game has some of the best sounds on the GB (love the overworld theme!!)?Or shall I say about the awesome gameplay lurking insaide this cartridge?Oh I know I can tell you how immensly huge this games map is! This map is BIG! The game covers a variety of enviroments, including-Caves,Lakes,Mountain Ranges,Rivers,Beaches and others.One of the greatest things about this game is how places you can't yet get you tease you so much that once you finally earn the right of passage you find yourself exploring every inch and have a great sense of achivement,this gameplay keeps drawing you in and dosn't let you put the cart down!

This game is a true classic,with the original version out in 1993 and the gameplay hasn't aged in the slightest.What would a heroic adventure be without heroic objects now (apart from a heroic adventure with a distinct lack of heroic objects)?Link is really "packin'" it in this game.link carrys around quite an arsanal and is armed to the funny-hat-thing that he wears.Weapons include the standard sword and shield combo and more exotic weapons such as the majic wand.Everyones favourite weapon is back (well,my fav at least) THE HOOKSHOT,this is quite a remarkable piece of weaponary that is extractable,enabling you to bring objects to you or even you to larger objects-and the fun dosn't stop there!!! It's also an effective as an änti-baddie"weapon!GREAT!!

Zelda Links Awakening (aka Zelda4 aka ZeldaDX) is the only Zelda game so far that dosn't actually have Zelda anywhere in it,or Links arch enemy (How come all hero's have one?) Gannon.Zelda 4 is set on an island that Link gets washed up on (as you do) that he dosn't wish to spend the rest of his life on.There are characters throughout this epic adventure to interact with and even some parallel characters from Zelda64-Marin and Tarin who bear a remarkable likeness to Malon and Talon of Lon Lon Ranch (spoopky).

I could rave on for ages about this game but I think I shall keep it fairly blunt so you have more time to buy it.Zelda4 is a great game that is truely worthy of anyones GB games collection.In fact it's so good that I snuck away from this review multiple times to play it.

Comming soon,I finished the mono-version before DX was released and I am currently playing DX
It isn't just the colour thats changed though!!!!
