scrawny (if ya ask me), average height for a 14 years old. Dark brown hair with matching
eyes. Not exactly gorgeous but decent looking to say the least.
Personality: Shinji is a quiet boy... not exactly hero material but he gets the job done ^-^. He's very low on self esteem and lets people push him around.
Special Abilities: Shinji is one of the 5 Eva pilots. His sync rate with the Eva is pretty much unmatchable by most people and can be said to be the strongest pilot.
Sweetheart(s): there's Kaworu but then he's dead plus he's a guy (although there is the possibility of Shinji being gay...) He seems to be somehow drawn to Rei but then again, that's because she's his mum's clone. Asuka would probably the only real 'love' of Shinji... they seem mismatched but they do start the human race again like Adam and Eve...
Comments: Shinji isn't your typical hero or protagonist... actually, he seemed like the most unlikely candidate to be an Eva pilot but... *shrugs* Anyway, Shinji is a quiet and submissive boy, mainly because he was ditched by his father and his mother died. A bit of a wimp as he screams throughout most of his fights with the Angels... but he eventually gets better. At first, he was reluctant to be an Eva pilot but he became a damn good one at the end...
