So, what exactly does Super S really mean? I've seen it as "Supers" and I've seen it as "Super Super" and "Super Stars." Well, there's another word that starts with "S" that feels like the main focus of SuperS: sex.

I nearly died laughing when I found out that SuperS was considered the "sickeningly cute"/worthless season. I'm enjoying it more than any of the other seasons, despite spending the second half screaming for the Hookeress Quartet to die in a painful way. Mostly because it's all so inherently wrong. Worthless? Possibly. Cute, however...uhm...Diana's cute...not much else is though!

"Help us, Pegasus!"

First off, let's look at Rini(Chibiusa). Our little future heroine is in love with a horse who, thank god, happens to be a real boy. Although Rini has absolutely no clue about this and still proceeds to lust after an animal. With no shame.

Let's take a glance at Yamhead's track record, shall we? In R she lusted after her own father. In SuperS she lusted after a horse. S was Rini's only non-deviant season, thanks to her "friendship" with Hotaru.(well, the fact that Hotaru ended up devouring her pink haired friend's pink sugary heart probably made it a little deviant)

I think bestiality beats out incest...although she still does have that Electra complex on the backburner(I guess that's in case things don't work out at the stable)

No wonder the Negaverse was able to blast the Silver Millenium straight to hell. The Royal Family has one fucked up gene pool.

"One, Two, Three!"

Even the villains are sex starved. The Amazon Trio hangs out in a bar, chooses targets they find sexually attractive, then goes out to rape said target's hopes and dreams. And if this isn't a sexual metaphor, why would it matter that Fish-Eye isn't interested in women? Or that Tiger-Eye prefers girls in the age range of barely legal to very illegal while Hawk-Eye would rather sleep with women old enough to be the mother of the girls Tiger-Eye stalks?

"Your red lips are making us feel weird..."

Other than stalking beautiful dreamers on the basis that anyone with sex appeal is bound to be a good horse host, there's also enough sexual tension between the Trio to melt that creepy little eyeball.

Sure, Hawk-Eye and Tiger-Eye turn various shades of blue whenever Fish grabs a man from the target pile and runs off to look for some Kleenex to stuff his bra with.(Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I almost turned blue when he went after that boy in Rini's class...) But there's something going on that makes parts of the dub not make sense(see below)

Example the First: Fish-Eye reminds Tiger-Eye that s/he(depending on dub/sub preference) doesn't like girls. So, Tiger-Eye, macho stud that he is, says something about Fish preferring a man like him. Which causes Fish to scream about what a musclebound idiot Tigereye is.

Here's my thoughts on this--true, Fish is a bit old for Tiger(as are most things over ten), but do "straight"(using the term very loosely here) men ask their homosexual counterparts if they're their type?

Example the Second: Hawk-Eye and Tiger-Eye are fighting over who's going to score first with Mina when Fisheye comes up to them, tears in his eyes, and begs them to stop fighting over him.

Now, look at that picture for a second. Remember our pals Malachite/Kunzite and Zoicite from the first season? And how they couldn't keep their grimey little Nega-hands off each other? But how--as many fans of the generals have pointed out--Zoicite and Malachite were almost always groping each other, but everything below the belt was always kept a few feet away from the other person. Yeah. Look at that picture of Hawk and Fish again.

Also, I recently had a conversation with a friend about the Amazon Trio(I loaned her a bootleg tape). She's on the "Fish-Eye is a girl" side, but feels that Tiger's-Eye and Hawk's-Eye are probably bi(Hawk's-Eye especially due to the skirt)and that they only freak out over Fish-Eye going after guys because they're jealous that she's not interested in them.

Hey, I'm not a big fan of femme Fish-Eye, but at least someone in that camp(camp, get it?) agrees with me that there's no way in hell Tiger's-Eye and Hawk's-Eye are completely straight(she also suggested that T+H are only going after the girls because they're burned out on boys)
