Doll Box stats Name: Tiger-Eye/Tigereye/Tiger's Eye/etc. Likes: Booze and girls. Young ones. Dislikes: Girls in sailor suits. Ugliest outfit: Anything with those god awful, massive green earrings. Favorite food: Life giving alcohol Gemstone named after: Tiger's Eye Lifespan: Anime--episodes 128-149(Japanese, not sure in US/Can) Manga--Acts 1-3 of SuperS(turned human in Eclipse Dream, no appearance in Mercury Dream, dies in Mars Dream) Random manga fact: Tiger-Eye announces that his dream is to be an artist.(well, in English, anyway) No, I'm probably not the first person to say Tiger-Eye qualifies for pimp-hood and I probably won't be the last. But just look at him! He wears rings on half his fingers at all times. When he goes after that nun, he has a ring on every single finger. Classic pimp. All he needs is a pimp hat and a fur coat and he'll be ready for the flesh trade.(the whip doubles quite nicely as a cane.) The coat would probably be an improvement since it might cover most of Tiger-Eye's ensemble. The striped tights, black briefs, shirt with sleeves that cover his hands, the razor blade earrings...okay, I like the boots.(But I'll like anything in the boots family that's knee to thigh high.)And the razor blade earrings aren't too bad...As for the rest, Tiger-Eye got dressed in the dark in 1984--at least from the bare navel down. Add some leg warmers and expose a shoulder and he's Flashdance-tastic! But poor taste aside(how many Sailor Moon characters can actually dress themselves anyway?), what about Tiger-Eye the person? Well, as a person, Tiger-Eye gets off on beautiful dreams, especially the beautiful dreams of young girls.(And yes, he gets off on them. Most of the "head in dream mirror" dialogue tends to be "Ohhh! What a beautiful dream!" etc.) When he's not callously rummaging through innocent dreamers' deepest thoughts and desires, Tiger-Eye enjoys a few drinks, a slight rivalry with Hawk-Eye based on which chicks are hottest, and a strange flirtation with Fish-Eye. Tiger-Eye, as the second vainest bitch in the Dead Moon Circus(Nehelenia would have to be the vainest, all things considered), has some of the worst social skills. For example, after attempting to send Sammy to a watery grave in "Beach Blanket Bungle", Tiger-Eye suavely turns to Amy and says, "Looks like we're alone now..." Completely oblivious to the fact that humans have this thing about saving their friends... Speaking of friends, Tiger-Eye is the first one to openly struggle with the whole concept, pondering if there's anyone who'd care enough about him to save his life. Eventually he decides that once he has Pegasus and the golden crystal he won't need friends, but hey, it's a step in the right direction. |
