The scene goes to the busy city night. Seiya is standing on a bridge talking to himself. You can hear the Three Lights' song playing.
song: "You are always shining, your smiling face is like a small star."
Seiya: "This town is filled with our song."
song: "I cherish it (eternal starlight)."
Seiya: "Why doesn't it reach her?"

The scene changes to Usagi's house.
Chibi Chibi is asleep and Usagi is at her desk sewing and listening to the radio. It's the Three Lights' song.
song: "On that day, I couldn't protect you. I can only hold back my regretful tears."
Seiya comes up outside of the Tsukino's house.
He looks up at Usagi's window. Then he looks down.
Seiya: "I must be stupid..."
Back in Usagi's room she sees a red butterfly flutter by.
She watches it disappear through her window.
Usagi: "What? A butterfly?"
Seiya is still looking at Usagi's window. Usagi opens the sliding glass door and steps out onto the balcony. Seiya stars at her. Usagi looks around for the butterfly.
Usagi: "What was that?"
Then she notices someone below her balcony.
Usagi: "Who's there?"
Seiya looks a little embarrassed to be caught looking at her window.
Seiya: "Hi!"
Usagi: "Seiya! Just a second! I'll be right down!"
Usagi quickly turns to come downstairs, but Seiya stops her.
Seiya: "That's all right! I'm happy just to
see your face."
Usagi blushes and smiles.
Usagi: "You're weird, aren't you? Guys are called a Peeping Tom when you come to see a
pretty girl's room at night!"
Seiya smiles.
Seiya: "Talkative as always!"
He begins to walk away.
Seiya: "Nice to see you! Bye!"
Usagi calls after him.
Usagi: "Seiya!"
He stops and looks up at her. She leans on the rail.
Usagi: "Next Sunday, we're having
a school festival! I know you're busy, but
if you can visit us… it'll make everyone happy!"
Seiya: "What's our class doing?"
Usagi: "A coffee shop!"
Seiya: "That's mediocre!"
Usagi seems offended by Seiya's comment.
Usagi: "I don't think so!
Look at our outfits!"
She runs into her room and grabs the dress Makoto designed. She comes back out to the balacony and holds it up.
Usagi: "Tada! Isn't it pretty!"
She folds up the dress and leans on the rail again.
Usagi: "Makoto's cake is
unforgettably good!"
Suddenly Chibi Chibi pops up over Usagi's shoulder. She looks very sleepy.
Chibi: "Chi... bi..."
Seiya watches Usagi hold Chibi Chibi.
Usagi: "Sorry, did I wake you?"
Chibi Chibi is so tired she can't even hold her head up.
Seiya smiles.
Seiya: "I'll go... to the festival."
Usagi: "Really?"
Seiya: "Good night!"
Seiya walks away from Usagi's house. Usagi watches Seiya go as she holds Chibi Chibi.
Usagi: "Good night!"
As Seiya walks a red butterfly flutters by behind him. He turns and watches the butterfly fly up to Usagi's window and and disappear inside of her rooms. As it flies inside Usagi's lights turn off. Seiya stars at Usagi's window.
Seiya: "That scent was..."
