The episode opens with someone standing outside of Usagi's house in the rain. It's Rei; she looks up sadly at Usagi's house. Inside, Usagi is taking a bath.
She has her eyes closed and looks depressed. She is thinking about what happened yesterday. She remembers what Seiya said to her on the roof of the school as she cried.
Usagi: *I want to see you... I want to
see you, Mamoru!*
Seiya: *Am I not good enough?*
Usagi opens her eyes and looks up sadly. Soon she gets out of the bath and walks up the stairs to her room. She opens the door and notices Rei sitting on her bed with Chibi Chibi next to her. She is surprised to see her.
Usagi: "Rei!"
Rei looks at Usagi seriously.
Rei: "What are you going to do? In this case, if your mind is clouded,
everyone will be puzzled!"
Usagi looks down sadly.
Usagi: "But..."
Rei doesn't want Usagi to be unsure of her feelings in such a critical time.
Rei: "No "buts", please! If you don't clear
it up, Seiya will get hurt, too! You don't have a choice, you already
have someone important!"
Usagi looks at the picture on her desk of her and Mamoru.
Usagi: *Mamoru...*
Rei: "You love him, more than
anyone else, right?"
Usagi nods her head and closes her eyes.
Usagi: "Yes."
Rei: "Then you understand, this is an
important moment for you."
A tear streams down Usagi's face. Rei sees it and is concerned.
Rei: "What is it?"
Usagi: "I wonder what Mamoru is doing."
Rei is surprised.
Rei: "What?"
Usagi: "It's night here so he must
be awake, I wonder..."
Usagi: "...if his university studies and
research are going well?"
Usagi turns back to Rei. She is crying but tries to smile.
Usagi: "I'm pretty sure he has lots
of friends there..."
Rei is concerned about what Usagi is saying and gets up.
Rei: "Usagi?"
Usagi: "I hope he isn't sick..."
Rei runs to Usagi.
Rei: "Just a second, Usagi!
What are you saying? You've kept in touch, right?"
Usagi shakes her head no.
Rei: "Why?"
Usagi doesn't look at Rei as she speaks.
Usagi: "I haven't got any replies..."
Rei: "No replies? Since when?"
Rei is worried about Usagi.
Rei: "Usagi!"
Usagi: "From the start..."
Rei: "Why did you keep something like
that to yourself, Usagi?"
Chibi Chibi gets up and turns on Usagi's radio.
Chibi: "Chibi..."
Rei turns to Chibi Chibi.
Rei: "Oh, Chibi Chibi, we're talking
about something important."
She bends down to Chibi Chibi and calmly talks to her.
Rei: "So, please go to your
Momma for..."
Suddenly the announcer on the radio speaks.
Announcer: "We're shocked by Three Lights' sudden
announcement that they will disband!"
Usagi and Rei are surprised at this announcment.
Rei: "Three Lights are going
to disband?"
Then Taiki begins to talk on the radio.
Taiki: "We'd like to announce
to our fans that..."
Usagi and Rei look sad as they listen.
Taiki: "...we, Three Lights, will regard
tomorrow's concert as the final one."
Announcer: "So, will you be pursuing
a solo career? Mr. Taiki, what's the reason
for the break-up?"

The scene changes to the Three Lights apartment. Seiya walks in wearing gym clothes; he is sweaty from a workout. He sees Princess Fireball standing in the room and she looks at him. Soon Taiki and Yaten walk in, also in gym clothes.
Taiki sees the princess and speaks to her.
Taiki: "Princess, we will definitely call the
Light of Hope at this final concert!"
Princess: "Now's the time for us to rally
together and focus our wish!"
Taiki: "No problem! As long as you're here,
we can do it ourselves!"
Yaten: "Since our song reached you,
we'll find it for certain!"
Seiya is sitting at the bar and thinking about what happened yesterday on the roof of the school. He remembers what Usagi said.
Usagi: *I want to see you, Mamoru!*
Seiya: *Am I not good enough?*
Taiki: "Before Galaxia comes
to this planet we'll find the Light of
Hope! Right, Seiya?"
Taiki looks over at Seiya who didn't seem to hear him. Seiya is just staring and looking sad. Taiki calls Seiya again.
Taiki: "Seiya?"
Seiya looks up.
Seiya: "Oh, right..."
Princess Fireball looks concerned about Seiya's behavior.

Meanwhile, at Crown Fruit Parlor, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako are talking while it still rains outside. The mood among the girls is pretty sad.
Minako: "How'd it go, Ami?"
Ami: "As I thought. When I asked the university in America,
they said that Mamoru never arrived."
Makoto looks concerned.
Makoto: "Was he in an accident? I really wish he could be here
with Usagi in such a situation..."
Ami: "Usagi must have worried
about him all the time, even though she didn't show
any anxiety in front of us."
Rei: "Poor Usagi! She shouldn't
have worried alone. If only she had told us
earlier... I feel terrible!"
