Now that Chibiusa has gone home, Usagi can be alone with Mamoru... but he is going abroad to America to study. She meets him at the airport to say goodbye and he gives her a ring... places it on her left ring finger...
he say's "I love you, Usagi"... and they kiss goodbye.
While Mamoru is leaving she notices a big crowd of screaming girls. They are surrounding 3 boys, most likely celebrities.
As we soon discover, these boys are the members of a new idol group, the Three Lights.
And guess what? They go to Usagi's school! Soon the girls fall for them. Rei likes Yaten; Minako likes Seiya... and Yaten... and Taiki; Makoto seems to have no preference; and Ami (yes, even Ami!) like Taiki. Usagi doesn't seem to care much about this new idol group, she just misses Mamoru.
With all these new things happening a new enemy appears! But they aren't like every other villain... they're sailor senshi too!
Now our senshi have to prepare for battle again! These new villains are stronger and they're after something that is hard to find; true star seeds. Every human contains a star seed, but only certain humans have star seeds that shine brightly. This is what the enemy, Sailor Galaxia and her animates, want. The trouble is that a human can't live without a star seed, so when a human's star seed is taken they turn into a Phage; which is like a sailor senshi that resembles the persons personality. Sailor Moon has to heal these people and return their star seeds.
There is also another set of senshi, 3 women from a mysterious place.
They fight against Galaxia, but they don't want to join the other senshi. They are on earth for an unknown reason and they are doing their own thing. These girls look pretty familiar... don't they?
One day when Usagi is at the park a strange young girl appears! All she says is "Chibi".
When Usagi goes home this young girl is in her house and her mom says to her "How could you leave your little sister Chibi Chibi behind?".
A little sister?! Usagi knows this isn't possible and her and the others begin to wonder who it is... Neo Queen Serenity and Neo King Endymion's second daughter? No, Setsuna confirms she isn't. But then who is she, and where did she come from?
And now, to add more to all of this, Usagi has been writing Mamoru everyday, but hasn't gotten a reply. She calls him, but no one is there. Where is he?
Seiya of the Three Lights falls in love... with Usagi! He learns of Mamoru and wishes he wasn't around. He takes Usagi out on dates and talks to her often.
Usagi is naive though; she is unaware of his feelings and only thinks of him as a friend.
As things move along identities are revealed. While on an airplane Aluminum Siren attacked and Usagi and the girls were forced to transform around the Three Lights. The Three Lights also had no choice and had to transform into the Sailor Star Lights around the inner senshi. Now that this has happened things heat up between the two groups of senshi.
The outer senshi confront the Star Lights and tell them to stay away from Usagi. Things have gotten too complicated and it's hurting Usagi emotionally. Seiya also feels badly because he wants to see Usagi. At one of the Three Light's concerts Seiya tells Usagi this, which explains the situation well.
"Everything was Galaxia's work! She's going to destroy all the stars and planets in the entire galaxy! Her goal is to collect the energy of each star and planet in the galaxy, the real Star Seed! If she gets them all, the whole galaxy will belong to her! Our planet was destroyed by her. Our last hope, our Princess, escaped Galaxia's evil hand and headed for Earth. Following her, we have arrived on this rural planet!"
We soon find that Chibi Chibi has powers.
She can transform into a sailor senshi and she powered up Sailor Moon's tier. Again we ask, "Who is this girl?"
Well well, things are certainly leading up to an exciting climax, huh? Will Seiya stay away from Usagi? Will the Sailor Star Lights ever find their long lost princess? What has happened to Mamoru?
