Cherry is a young girl with blue eyes and golden curled hair who wears tall string boots and a pink and red dress with long sleeves and puffs.
Cherry has to be one of the most sweetest girls to ever exist (without being sickening; that's an amazing feat!). Cherry and her parents rescue Unico from the creek that runs by their house after Toby had chased after him to try and turn him into a living puppet. Cherry is still a very young girl and often wonders why people can be so mean and why her parents are so sad and frustrated when they mention her astrange brother Toby. Cherry really believes that there is good in everyone; she and Unico are a real pair. She's as innocent and caring as Unico. When her parents are turned into living puppets by Kuruku, she starts her quest with Unico to get them changed back. She takes the responsibility of trying to get everyone else who has been turned into puppets changed back too. She also wants to help her brother who is Kuruku's servant, thus making her take more responsibility for her brother turning people into living puppets. The first time Cherry and Unico face Kuruku, they are turned into toys; but Toby frees them and changes them back because he can reverse the spell of toys, though he can't do the same for living puppets.
When she and Unico face Kuruku for the second and final time, she unselfishly sacrafices herself by grabing Unico and pulling him out of the way of Kuruku's energy blast, saving Unico and getting herself turned into a living puppet, while yelling at Unico to run and save himself. Unico who had just found out that Cherry loved him is then determined to finish Cherry's quest of freeing everyone, including her.
